  • I'm not that familiar with running script, but copy paste and placing under start of layout did not do anything. Both exports tried.

    Thanks anyway.

  • Looks like chrome args --start-maximized is bugged as well.

    Same for Windows Webview2.

  • That doesn't work for windowed mode, it just makes it full screen.

If my only recourse is full screen I'd rather handle that in events as the desktop doesn't have a mechanism to deal with getting out of full screen built in like the browser, esc, f11 etc.

Minimize, and maximize buttons in windowed mode just seem like less of a pain in the neck and more like how regular apps work.

  • How I set up my desktop exports to open maximized in window mode to the size of the current desktop? All they do is open to the size of the exports regular dimension's.

I don't want to make the user click the maximize button in windowed mode.

Love this style. How you do that tilt shift effect?

Sorry, been taking it off a while.

I did a tut on the effect here:

    construct.net/en/tutorials/tilt-shift-drawing-canvas-2912

I may release the project on the store.

  • You can set the time scale of individual objects rather than the games timescale.

    System> Set object time scale

Use families to make it simpler.

This is the method I suggest people start with since regular time scale changes sound as well.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Technically you can do it now with by pasting in to Drawing Canvas.

You would have to make your own Sprite Font using Sprite, or Tiled BG. It would be as time consuming as making a plug essentially.

On the other hand there's nothing keeping you from pre rendering a font and putting that into Sprite Font.

  • Oh yeah. It uses a new feature so you have to load up the beta.

    Thanks Tom, all.

  • Multidimensional, and Constructs array don't work like that. You can make multiple Array objects to make additional stacks/rows along the x axis. You can even make multiple instances and use the instancing expressions to make things closer to what you are wanting.

Or you can use the Json object and just create arrays on the fly.

Its use is a little complicated compared to the regular array, but again arrays on the fly.

  • Good thing that living in the outdoors is still an option.

  • With the addition of tile randomization, and mesh not only can you alter the texture, but you can animate it as well.

    Here's an example:

    Merry Christmas!

  • The question is if it can even do pseudocode because that's what is at the heart of C3, and the answer is ehh, no but it can fake it.
