    for most games i think it's better the longer it is, if it's a fun game to play (of course i also agree with what people have said about the quality of the game etc.) but i think portal is my favorite game, and it was short as hell. But then again, i wouldn't mind if it was longer.

    Would also be intresting to know who people would be most excited to see joining scirra. I would really like to see Nifflas here, and also the guys behind The spirit engine!

  • Since I, and probably most other people have no clue what most famous indie game-makers use as nic, we don't really know if we've got any celeberties on the board! The two i'm aware of so far in the scirra family are: Joakim Sandberg (Noitu Love), and Kayin (I wanna be the guy).

    Do we have any more? I'm sure there are more people who's got games they are known for that we don't know about! Show yourselves!

    It seems impossible to figure it out, but i'm okay with just reading the answers!

  • Timescale works for "going to eat dinner"-pauses. If you want to pause the game to view your inventory for example you would need to do it the hard way.

    A sub-application plugin would come in handy in the future, i know it's used a lot in mmf. But it's not really nescessary since there are not to hard workarounds.

  • wonderful video! I've thought about this a lot when i planned the game i'm working on (or should be) right now. I'm going to have AI that goes to sleep in their house at a specific time, can hear you if you make a noise, and a lot of other cool stuff! You're going to love it!

    The sprite is visible 1/60 of a second after i click again. I don't click that fast. And as i said, it changes when i change the doubble click speed. At slowest i can wait like 2/3 of a second before the second click, and it still doesn't reveal the red box.

  • Some things looked really good! I'm not too convinced by the gameplay yet, but i've submitted my name to the notification list.

  • In this cap you can create two rectangles. If you click the mouse the blue one will appear. If you click the mouse and the blue one is visible, the red one should appear. Her's the wierd thing:

    If you click, and then click again within the doubble-click time (which depends on how your computer is configured) it doesn't reveal the red one. It looks like it's counting the second click as just a part of a doubble-click. If you try to change the doubble-click speed of your computer you will see that it affects the behavior of the application.

    Is this intentional?
