  • Derqs Nice game. Controls are a little difficult though. I couldn't get more than 2 points. lol

I did have one question though... How did you remove permissions while using CocoonJS?? Is there new exporting options that don't require them anymore?

Thanks! And congrats on the release!

  • BluePhaze Yeah, I implemented both IAds and Gamecenter (for achievements and leaderboard). Both were pretty straight forward, but one issue I noticed while testing is that the iAds are aligned to the left top part of the screen (instead of top centered) when I tested. I am not sure how to fix this that, or if that is what others are seeing. Other than that, it was really easy to do everything. Including the scripting, and learning / messing with xcode, I think it took me three - four hours total. Future games / updates will be really easy, now that I have gone through this.

Tap or Draw Paths to tell the bee where to fly. Collect Honeycomb that show up periodically while avoiding the dancing flowers.

Raise the score multiplier by collecting honeycomb in quick succession. Look for bonus Large Honeycomb for 10x pickup, and an instant 5x multiplier. Additional bonus points awarded about every 100 honeycomb that you collect.

  • I was able to get my game A Storybook Garden approved on the App Store. It uses Ejecta and was pretty straight forward to get it all to work. I will be fixing a few issues, so any feedback to functionality are welcome. This was mostly a test bed for the tech for a new game that I am working on. Enjoy!

  • I am getting this exact same error and I can't seem to get it to work. When using r164 with the unofficial expecta plugin it worked great, but not with this 'official' version.

This error happens when the app is export with 'Minify off', and I get a different error with 'Minify on' which is: TypeError: undefined is not a function (evaluating 'window["createEjectaRuntime"]()') at Line 5 in index.js

I am just glad someone else is getting the same errors. I think it has something to do with implementing Game Center features and such (like Leaderboards and iAds), but I really have no idea. Hopefully Ashley can help.

tomsstudio I am very interested in your project here, and will be watching it as you develop. If you need any help with test projects, just let me know. I am mostly just interested in iOS and Android.

  • Yeah, I am noticing the exact same thing. I only have one app, and thought no one was playing it, but that doesn't seem to be the cause after looking into it myself. I am not sure where the process is breaking down.

  • yongsheng

I am noticing a very slight delay after playing a sound, and also this same delay happens when looping music. When I test in Chrome it sounds correct, but in Crosswalk there is a split second pause / silence that happens. It is really hard to notice when sounds play, but much easier to spot with looping sounds. I don't hear this issue with CocoonJS or using the Chrome browser.

If I made a test example, where would upload it?

  • Check out a game I made last year, that I finally got around to finishing for Google Play. It is called A Storybook Garden.

  • yongsheng Yeah, that sounds like the Google Play API Javascript stuff might work, but I don't know anything about javascript plugin coding.

Maybe this is something that Ashley, or some of the other Java Script guru's here could look into?   I am sure all of the Android developers here would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for pointing that link out, and all your other updates!! :)

  • szymek Can Leadbolt be used with Mobile Web? Is there a way to test if the ad is working, without having to get approval? There is no 'test ad' that I can see on desktop, mobile, or android. On desktop, I can tell the ad is there, but just invisible, since the mouse changes to a 'click' pointer.

I am trying to find ad support for Mobile Web (ie play html5 on mobile) and Android Crosswalk. I was hoping to use Leadbolt, but just like everything else, it doesn't seem to work. Disappointed. :/

    Any help / pointers?

  • yongsheng Thank you for the update about Ad support. That is very exciting. Is there a time frame for adding this support?

Is there a plan to support Google Play API services (ie leaderboards, achievements, etc), as well? It seems like a natural thing to also support.

Also, is there a upcoming release list for Crosswalk? And a list of when IntelXDK is going to integrate the latest version? It sounds like they are a few versions behind. I have no idea what features are planned, or even already supported in Crosswalk.

Thanks so much for your help!

  • Ashley IntelRobert

Are there plans to natively support Google Play services API ( for Leaderboards, Achievements, IAP, etc)?? I would love to use Crosswalk + Google Play login systems. Crosswalk is so close to being good enough to publish with.

Please tell me there is hope! :)

    Thanks!

One more quick question: Is Google Play support planned as well? Leaderboards, Achievements, Multiplayer, etc. If so, is there a time frame on these services, as well? Thanks!

  • IntelRobert Ashley

I am having great success with the latest build using the Canary option. 60+ fps. Full sound / music. Splash screen. Full Screen. Almost perfect. Thank you so much for everyone's hard work! :)

Two quick questions: Is there a time frame for when AdMob support will be added? Are you planning on supporting the new Immersive Mode (true full screen) added in Android 4.4 Kit Kat?

Thanks once again for kicking butt! This is truly exciting.
