  • Hello everyone,

Here's a list of games we created that are ready to be released, if the performance on mobiles will change for the better, or the if things like multiplayer will work..

    1. Sushi Legend for mobile (Match 3 game, with bonusses)

    (performance issues)

    2. Meme Battlegrounds for mobile (multiplayer card game with memes)

(multiplayer plugin does not work correctly)

    3. Driving game for mobile with fallout style graphics (2D)

    (performance issues)

    4. Hidden object game for mobile (this is the only one that has no issues besides filesize)

(Filesize issues due to overhead and many images)

    5. Gem Break for mobile (Peggle style game with 100 levels and bonus upgrades)

    (performance issues)

    6. Bubble Wizard HD for mobile (pang style)

    (performance issues)

    7. Drum app with many different sounds and lots of settings (dosnt work due to audio lagg)

    (Audio issues, lagg)

I'm hoping that sometime in the near future, we will be able to release these games.

We also have around 5 apps that we haven't released because of missing features on CocoonJS

Anyways, we have released about 6 apps and 2 games, so all is not bad!

  • A Crosswalk compiled game with 60 fps on mobiles... i highly doubt that. i would love to try that game.

Anyways, i hope Cocoon.io will come to our aid! So we can begin to release all the games we made!

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • xanxion No and no once again. Some people bought C2 to be able to do browser games only so do not speak for them. And second no, Native Exporter is not even near the "Ultimate Performance" whatever the hell that means.

Once again, stop spamming this thread with shit not related to Crosswalk.

Edit: Next time think before posting. it actually is faster than deleting pointless posts.

I was speaking for myself, not the community, i would like some better export options, so we can release our games and not just prototype them.

And i'm not spamming. I'm just pointing it out. - Some sort of CocoonJS exporter would be fine, and that's not native, but the performance is acceptable. There's just too many bugs and missing features, because its not made for C2. (but i'm hoping that the new Cocoon Compiler will fix that!)

  • I agree, a native exporter for mobile must be present in C3, or at least something like CocoonJS (the new compiler)

if not, then the new C3 will be useless..

    Hello,

It is quite probably that it won't work in Canvas+, at least at the moment. It might work on the new Webview+ for iOS, as it supports DOM elements.

    Regards.

Would it work with the new CocoonJS compiler?

  • Thanks, i'll see if that will work!

  • Hello guys,

is there a better way to do this:

I'm thinking performance wise, since this game is supposed to be on mobile.

    • or is picking like this okay?

    Any help would be great!

  • i'll give a go later this week, might be because the server was down then!

  • "If using Canvas+, remove the whitelist plugin installed by default. "

    Where is that?

    • anyways looking forward to the new service!

Good luck with it, i've always used CocoonJS for perfomance.

  • Well then, if its so great and cutting edge, i can't wait to see some multiplayer games actually being released.

For now, all i see is people can't connect to each other properly. I think this multiplayer plugin was implemented way to early. I dont care how cutting edge it is, or how advanced if its not working in general for most users/players.

And about opening ports for playing online games? this is not the 90's.. You might have needed to in old games like Red Alert and so on. But we are in 2015, try playing some online multiplayer games.. I haven't opened ports for that in years, lol.

I'll try not to rage about this to much, but considering the problems with everything like Mobile, Multiplayer, Performance, Exporters. All of that combined.. Argh..

  • I really doubt that, since most can't make it work. For some reason people can't connect to each other.

Scirra says it might because of firewall / ports or NAT setup. But i don't get the idea then... People should never have to open ports and so on to play online browser games.

    It sucks

  • Unfortunately i have't got it to work online. (tried with several friends)

Not sure why, but i think its the Multiplayer plugin by Scirra, many seems to have problems with it.

But its a great game, i hope that AI opponents will be implemented. That would rock!

  • This multiplayer feature was a waste of time. I works for no one. And if it works, it don't.

    lol

  • Sounds good! Looking forward to that

  • Does this use the new Local Storage plugin?

The old Webstorage plugin is no longer supported....
