  • ok here is what i am doing i am getting a round object to fall off a sqaure object once clicked the square is destroyed and then it falls using the physics behavior and then it bounces along a new slope object and towards a triangle object that is meant to destroy it, but the physics behavior does not have a bounce action so i added a extra behavior(bullet behavior) to the round object on the create event of the round object i set movement speed to 0 and physics force apply gravity to 6 and then it all was working in the test run but when the bounce action for the round object colliding with the slope event was triggered the round object did not bounce but rather instead it was destroyed. Oh also sorry i did not mean to get offensive you simply put me in a uncomfortable position where i fealt threatened.

    Also i am afraid i cannot upload my .capx file as it contains all my game's material and very own art and coding and sounds and music therefore i am afraid some one may steal it and pass it off as their own.

  • Its very hard to udnerstand what you want.

    First use paragraphs. Its hard to read column of unformatted text.

    Second - either add .capx or explain possibly in bullet points both what you want to do and where do you have a problem, because from your text above it seems you didnt tried it yourself and you are looking for someone to do your job!

    that in my situation is kind of impossible. second i am not asking for some one to do my job i am just asking for help with my problem in a example so i can implement the solution to my game, lord knows i have tried and have it up to my gutt with programs like construct 2 and game maker studio all failing with me, and thirdly the bounce action simply destroys the object instead of bouncing it in construct 2, why won't this damn program do what i want it to do, everyone else makes it look so simple while i find it a pain in the ass...

    Oh one more thing, before you go accusing others of trying to get people to do the entire job for you. You may want to back up there because i have seen topics you have posted where you have done entirely exactly just that, which you accuse others of doing...

  • Ok i know you can make a level editor but i want to take it up a notch, for example i have completed 5 out of 20 levels and i am at the level select screen and i have a 1 star rating on level 2 and a 3 star rating on level 5 on and a 2 star rating on level 1 now these 5 levels are all unlocked and i want to click level 1 and go back and try again to get a 3 star rating and then i click the abort the level button in level 1 and i go back to the level select and i want to change the level i am on again without going back to the previous level i was just on and playing. How would i do this?

  • what you need to do is check for a collision with a sprite with a solid behavior so basically the sprites for the blocks and the floor and walls must be solid but the blocks must be affected by gravity...

  • Anyone here want to make a online game as a team? I am thinking a 2d side scroller set in post modern days and futuristic days i'll do all the image work and platform engineering and ai all i need is the multiplayer and sound files and ideas, and a way to make moderators and users i dont care how you get the sign up and login to work just as long as it gets done and note this game is going to be 100% original, and it will have a story line to it, and i'll start a kickstarter project for it and once i have the personal edition i'll start paying you for your work, how you may be wondering, simple cash shop, and premium items and admins and inventory help are all necessary so i'll put your name in the credits and pay roll list, and then i will pay you and release the game, the game is going to be called Twisted Reality Art Of War... Our company name will be Falconsoft. So remember its a 2d hack and slash side scroller...

  • just make a game as a lite version with personal edition and check for a encrypted .ini file string if it is eqaul to 1 the game is unlocked and stays that way, if it is 0 it is not yet payed for and stays the demo version, now the next step is a in app purchase transactions behavior and event when the money has been transacted to the game developer(You) the string in the .ini file gets decrypted and changed to 1 and then after being re-incrypted the game checks the string at the beginning of the loading screen, if it is eqaul to 0 it puts a purchase icon button on the main menu when clicked(or tapped) it asks the user to pay to unlock and remove level restrictions and ads. if it is how ever equal to 1 it erases the purchase icon button and the level restrictions are gone say for example you have a game with more than 30 levels in the full version, and in the demo the gamer can only play 15 it then checks if the string is equal to 0 or 1 and if it is 0 it asks the user to buy the game to continue playing, however should it be equal to 1 it should allow the gamer to move on to the next level.

  • you could just the script in your page called no right click, but then if it was a real time strategy game in your browser this may make the game malfunction...

  • wrong again my friend i recently purchased a 32 gigabyte android tablet and a 16 gigabyte sd card to upgrade it to a 48 gigabyte mobile tablet.

  • Well it threw a error message when i tried to put a 3rd sound file in my game and then it went away and let me move on, but when i went to do the action for playing a sound in a event it restricted me to a drop down list of a maximum 2 sound files even when i imported my 3rd sound file.

  • yeah totally buy it, then get the business edition when you have $5,000 and you only have to pay $480 according to the licence uela once you have more than $4,999 you must buy the business edition to continue making money, and who knows if you market correctly and set the right price on the store of the markets you could become a millionaire in a matter of hours, all depends on the quality of the game and how good it is and how fun it is, and then you just have to experiment with the pricing of the game on multiple stores... One other key factor is that your games are original and with your own resources and that your not infringing on a copy right of another game or stealing their resources, or engine.

  • unless it comes as a direct update on a reboot of my windows 8.1 pc from microsoft, i dont trust what is a os system from somewhere which can make any claim that it came from microsoft or apple or linux, cause it may just be a virus, you never know, ok...
