The buttons won't work because CocoonJS is DOM-free so you'll have to add some sprites and the touch object, then use touching a sprite as a trigger.
immigrantsheep I just used the user media object. When creating a new project, load up the webcam example to get started.
immigrantsheep yep!
OnekSoftGames have you followed the plugin instructions, where you copy the relevant files into the project included in the .zip file?
khaerul I'm not sure what you mean. And the link appears to just be a dancing man.
EyeHawk yeah we've made all our money through a cross-platform publishing deal. Windows 8 monetises very poorly. I think ad-supported would be a better approach for the future.
BluePhaze We've been having some issues with the store too - it seems to be at Microsoft's end. Hopefully it gets sorted soon.
andresteves check out Beta testing your app and in-app products
EyeHawk sales are roughly double per user than that of Windows 8. We've got roughly 20k downloads already, so that looks to be good too.
BluePhaze great to know! Thanks for testing!
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
You should check out this plugin: http://ryanjoy.com/2013/05/introducing-a-windows-store-advertising-plugin-for-scirra-construct-2/
I saw it several weeks back on Reddit ironically. I haven't used it myself but it looks brilliant.
The update is now live so any crashing should be fixed and performance should feel much better. These improvements have also been added to the Windows Phone Plugin.
SecondDimension have you looked at version control like Git, with branching and merging? This should work quite well with the XML source.
gamepopper you previously said you fixed the issue by editing the manifest file? It's been mentioned that you need to fill in the manifest file with all your apps relevant information.
Plugin has now been updated, fixing some difficult to repro crashing when playing audio with floating point volumes in certain locales.
spiritu this looks like a great position! I'll be looking forward to seeing the games you make in your transition to Construct 2.
Ashley you're right, PNGOut doesn't handle color depth reduction automatically. Never mind, I've got a batch process in Fireworks that handles the conversion cleanly enough. I'll stick with that for the time being. Thanks for the replies!
