Uer media, works on Android?
I mean, when you create the object of the camera, this works on Android?
Anyone know?
I know it works on iOS using CocoonJS. Here's a link to a CocoonJS build that you'll be able to test on Android using the CocoonJS app.

I've no idea whether user media works in-browser on Android though.
Yes, it works (tested on Android 4.0.4 on Sony Xperia S)
thehen how did you manage to make the camera work with user media on iOS? are you using cocoonjs?
immigrantsheep yep!
thehen how? did you use 'User Media' from Construct or some workaround?
immigrantsheep I just used the user media object. When creating a new project, load up the webcam example to get started.
thehen tried. it doesn't work on iOS. At least not in the latest versions of Construct.
The buttons won't work because CocoonJS is DOM-free so you'll have to add some sprites and the touch object, then use touching a sprite as a trigger.
thehen it seems that it doesn't work anymore anyway. Just got a response from Ashley saying that UserMedia is not working anymore for CocoonJS and that it was working for a while in the older versions of Construct as an experimental feature.
Ah I see!
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Has anyone had success with this since then?
its 2015 now! It should work!
We need more features on mobile! So many developers are moving to mobile apps/games. arfggh.
