On Layout1 I have a song playing. It continues playing on to Layout2 and Layout3 and is eventually stopped on Layout4. But, while on Layout4 there is an option to go back to Layout2.
How would I go about checking if music is already playing when Layout2 is loaded? If there is no checker... should I just create a Go to Layout2 and play Music1?
Seems a little too challenging for level 1.

Turn off immovable?
I had the same issue. I added another event to stop playing music and then start playing music on start of layout.
Works for now. Not sure how the global variable thing works.
Who doesn't like a good Breakout clone? I uploaded an Alpha demo of what I have been working on. Please leave a comment and rate it, thank you.
Any tips, advice, bug reports are greatly appreciated.

You probably have a variable updating it self with a random number (0-100) every second. Then
if player hit and dodgeVariable < 20 | player takes 0 damage.
else player takes X damage.
Something along those lines I would think.
That clears things up, thanks.
Take a look at the screen shot. I have three copies of most of my audio files. Is this normal? Can I delete the formats I don't care to use? Will this effect the game size?
Thanks for your input.

I would like to see a better image editor. Or at least some sort of back button. I don't know how many times I have accidentally made a dot or line and I cant undo it.
Is it possible to start a layout with timescale set to zero AND have an animation start playing?
I am trying to make a fade-in fade-out "Touch to Start" sprite. Then when the screen is touched, the timescale will be set to one and sprite will be destroyed, etc, etc.
If you can convert it to a Flash video, it should work. Not sure about WMV.
Very nice work. I'm listening to them all right now.
