    I tried sine - but it is good only for objects with "neutral" look (i.e. some spikes);

    because it does not "mirror" image when going left/right

    I tried also bullet behavior, but it can fly when bounced off some object

  • Which approach is the best:

    • adding 'platformer behavior' and use invisible obstacles?
    • using rex moveto plugin? (but I'm not sure how to get good effect:)

    Also how can I destroy blocks like in Mario?

  • last question to ludei

    can you see - somehow - if MoPub is sending portrait or landscape ad (AdMob case)? because last time when I was testing interstitials, sometimes MoPub was sending portrait ads (even if I ticked landscape only), and when portrait ad was showed on landscape view, then going back to game resulted in little zoom of layout

    What about Tiled Bakcground correctly working on CocoonJS?

    What about memory management? As Ashley said - he offered you solutions for this issue, but you ignored him

  • sure, Ashley could update tutorial with informations about Tilemap object

  • [quote:88wlxwk3]My blog post (so far) seems to be accurate

    In my opinion importing Kenney's tiles to a Sprite object (as an animation frames)

    is not only ignorant, but also totally useless. And it has nothing in common with Tilemap object.

  • big size - it's matter of wrappers; CocoonJS gives smaller APK, Crosswalk much bigger;

    Sprite Font works fine;

    AdMob works fine (at least on my CocoonJS projects);

    "On Collision" works fine;

    and so on

    so as Ashley would said it's better to report a bug if you really have some bad problems

    in my opinion the most ugly issues are the Google Play e-mails received by some users, that they should update their apps because of some security reasons

    Thanks for all answers,

    this time I want to use CocoonJS for my last time

    (because I will get much smaller APK)

    so I think that I will use high resolution + pixelized sprites

    or as Aphrodite said - pixellate webGL effect

  • Which approach is better:

    • low resolution game (but i.e. on CocoonJS I saw that it always use linear sampling)
    • high resolution, but with pixel-looking sprites?
  • you need image that you want to use in particle generator

  • As measured by the App Store on September 21, 2014.

    You can see it here:

    https://developer.apple.com/support/appstore/

    So what does it mean for us?

    Ashley

  • Maybe most of the C2 users are making 2D apps,

    so they are not interested at 3D tutorials;

    or they use Unity if they want 3D apps, hmm

  • Try Construct 3

    Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

    Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • It's not about Construct 2 but rather finding good niche and good keywords. If you will find good ones, then you can make totally crap - and people will download it anyway. If you will create game like "Happy Crocodile In The Jungle" then I guess nobody will download it - because of bad keywords.

    So it's more about SEO in Google Play than C2 itself.

    Congratulations too!

    Maybe it's good time to create some landing page with the most serious productions made in Construct 2

    I would switch to AdMob ads, because in AdMob every click pays

    as mentioned: banners give ~2$ eCPM

    as my friend said: interstitials give ~6$ eCPM (app for kids)
