It turns out it wasn't a bug, but rather a feature I hadn't heard of in my whole year of using Construct 2. My apologies.
Problem Description
The 'player' seems to always have this 'space' below him. I've posted this in the 'how to' forum but I only got suggestions of reporting it as a bug. This only occurs on screens around ~24" and is happening via the HTML website export and the web Nodekit export.
Description of Capx
Just move the player around with WASD and you will see the white space below him.
Steps to Reproduce Bug
- Use 24"+ screen
- Preview or export as HTML or WebKit
- Move the player around
Observed Result
You see this white line below the player
Expected Result
No white line, the player and the black below him blend in, like they do on smaller screens.
Affected Browsers
- Chrome: (YES)
- Node webkit (yes)
Operating System and Service Pack
Win 7 Pro Genuine SP1
Construct 2 Version ID
173 64-bit (has occurred for months but only got round to doing something about it)
