Yeah I'll be putting in my geforce 6200

    Oh wow lol XD

I bet Crysis runs SICK on that beast

Yeah I think the 6200 would be a better choice in this situation!

  • All great ideas

Work on Chamber should be starting up again soon as long as Christmas doesn't get too crazy at the shop. I predict the next couple of weeks should be fairly quiet... the calm before the storm so to speak. Once deadeye is finished with the comp we can get back to taking turns kicking each other in the ass.

  • It's from this game.

    .

Hey Sol, play this game on ur screen lol

    ummmmmmmmmm wtf was that? O.o

  • No, a newton is a newton. I'm going to just wait until someone who knows what i'm talking about shows up and go from there... No it's not the metric system and no it's not square feet because I haven't made any measurements for them.

I'm curious as to why you keep using imperial units if you live in Australia. Anyways, must be a nice projector. How's the quality on it?

The only thing we use imperial for is TVs and stuff... even then, it's only for LCD TV's, the old CRT ones are measured in centimeters. The quality on the projector is pretty sweet... it's an LG DX-130 DLP Projector. Good contrast ratio, and high resolution (1024x768 native, 1440x768 maximum) and nearly zero flyscreen effect. I have to say, I'm pretty happy with it overall.

  • You could also try adding a private varable.

    In pseudo code:

    +On pressing key (whatever)

-Set "player" private variable "jump" to 1

    +On not pressing key (whatever)

+"player" private variable "jump" equals 1

    -Do stuff

    +"player" jump animation is finished

-Set "player" private variable "jump" to 0

  • The error 0xC0000005 is generated by an illegal "memory access violation". This can be caused by anything from faulty RAM, an incorrect/corrupt device driver, poorly written/updated software and more commonly under Windows XP Service pack 2, malware/adware installations.

    It is a memory refrence.

I know this, because I am a technician. A really good technician.

    *EDIT*

Why don't you post your .cap so I can check it out. I have a funny feeling about something.

  • Yes ^^, why won't you buy now a camera and take a photo of it?

On the other hand I wonder, when you have those units such as foot, inch... what units do you use to describe for example pressure:

    Newtons/Square Foot ^^?

I have a camera, just not here lol. I'll take a pic of me playing Fallout 3 on giant-o-vision lol. I guess I could use my phone, but it's getting late and I've packed the projector up for the night. I'm mainly gonna use it for movies and stuff like that, and occasionally gaming on the big screen... oh and parties lol.

I think for newtons we just use "n", and for square feet you use ' then a small "2".

In Australia, the only thing we still measure in feet and inches is televisions and computer screens anyway... everything else it metric.

    *EDIT*

Apparantly in America, the square foot symbol is a square with a diagonal line through it... like but square not round.

  • The error code is a memory address. Have you tried it on any other computers or just the one? If the error exists on other computers then it's likely that either some funny events are causing the problem, or it could indeed be some kind of bug... if it only happens on your computer, you could have a RAM issue.

Post the .cap if you want so someone else can test it. I don't have Construct on this PC here right now, but I'm sure someone will give it a shot, or I can try later when I get onto my Construct computer.

  • I'm posting this from a 10 foot image on the wall of my house, using my new projector lol xD

It can go up to 28 feet big, but the wall isn't large enough! D:

  • I got bored and decided to make a thread for the Photoshop "Airbrush" enthusiasts to post your Photoshop edits on image stock.

Here is one I did of Charlize Theron:

    AFTER

Let's see what you guys can come up with

    ~Sol

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Wow man it's lookin' schmexy XD

You do realise you have to give me a beta of this for testing right?

  • hypocritical?

  • You really use the eraser? I just keep my fingers hovering over the E and B keys .

I don't even really like the eraser, it just gets in the way. Sometimes I'll be photoshopping and my tablet stops working, and it takes me a minute to realize I'm holding the damn pen upside down . They should make a pen with a nib on either end for absent-minded people.

Yeah I like the eraser lol... I have this automatic "flip" response when drawing because I work a lot with classic 2B pencils that have the eraser on the end. I loath touching the keyboard while using my tablet, I have all the important hotkeys mapped to the tablet buttons and sliders (change brush size etc).

You can change the eraser end to a nib in the WACOM software as well... at least on the Intuos 2 and 3 series I can... not sure about the Grapphire or Bamboo tablets, but it's just software based so I would assume that you could.

  • 12 inches baby

And yeah, I wanted (realistically) a Cintiq 12ux/wx (whichever it is) but it was like, three times the price of the Intuos 3. My last tablet was a Intuos 2 6x8 and that lasted me like 8-9 years or something like that. Hopefully I'll get a good run out of this one as well.

My old one still works, but I kinda broke the button on the pen, and the eraser as well... some(dickhead)one spilled Coke on it aaaaaaaaages ago and the eraser has always been sticky, so I tried to "fix" it and ended up completely knobbing it.
