  • Played it on PC... didn't dislike it, but didn't think it was anything special either. It was too easy, and it wasn't scary in the slightest because it was so predictable, like an 80's B grade horror film. It had to many "Simon Says" sections in the game, which IMO distract from the awesome cutscene rather than make you feel part of it... half the time I am mashing buttons and getting them wrong because I'm trying to watch the action, or I am pressing the right buttons to end up with "WTF just happened? I missed it because I was to busy pressing buttons instead of watching."

    Overall nice graphics, and the individual skills of the characters is a nice touch as well, though I spent the majority of the game as a single character and only changed to another one if I had to for some puzzle/blockade/etc.

    I gave it a 5/10 myself... would have been a 7/10 if it didn't come free with "Simon Says".

  • Lul yeah that sounded a little... suspicious.

    I have an idea that I want to play with, and it's taking longer than expected... I'll just keep working on it until it's ready to post up.

  • Try Construct 3

    Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • I didn't know who either of those people were so I had to GIS them... and I guess I'd have to say that Swanepoel chick, whoever she is.

    Candice Swanepoel is a lingerie and swimewear model, and Nicole Eggert used to be in Baywatch xD

    Yeah I was kinda thinking Candice Swanepoel anyway. Thanks man... I should have something for you to play with later tonight.

  • I have no idea what you guys are talking about, but it sounds awesome... so yeah... kick ass!

  • Yeah I kinda suggested this would be useful awhile back somewhere... but it's not really a priority so I guess we will have to wait. Im guessing the team will get around to it sometime after 1.0 release.

  • I have a related question... since I am about to test something out.

    Who is hotter?

    Candice Swanepoel or Nicole Eggert?

  • Wow nice additions. I realy like the sunset surface and the coral stuff on the bottom. The only thing I find annoying is when you start to get really big, the camera should zoom out a bit so you have more than just a giant head on the screen.

    It's looking awesome though mate... cant wait for the next update!

  • I'm going to run out of heads if you keep blowing them up like this Quazi...

  • LOL I love the comic book style intro! Nicely polished graphics and overall cool game. A little easy and a bit repetative, but it's nice to have different objectives for each phase/level. If there were some power ups perhaps, and maybe some asteroids that curved or flew at you on angles it would increase the challenge and make it a little more entertaining... but I think overall you did a fantastic job!

  • I don't know what happened... I tried to have sex with my screen and my monitor diesn't work anymore now... there's a hole in it... oh well I hope this post gets made. D:

  • Not bad mate, not bad at all. I think the game itself is a little too small though... even on my tiny 10" screen it was so small it made it a little hard to play. Other than that, the music was cool and the graphics were nice. Overall a good arkanoid clone... could use some more powerups and stuff though

  • flOwvOlution xD

    Loved it mate... as always you make me sick with your maths. I looked at the event sheet and nearly vomited... I knew it was coming but I still had to do it.

    On my crappy little MSI WIND laptop I collected all the food and was still pulling around 18fps (which I thought was pretty damn good considering) and on my main rig I was at like 230 fps at full size. Make MOAR!

  • That would come out roughly as:

    "Once upon a time, in a land far, far away,

    a brave not-so-young hero had stumbled upon an artifact of immense power!

    Woe is the hero, for he rubbed the artifact not once, not twice, but many times,

    yet grant his exact wishes it would not!

    Where he wished for women, he got bitches;

    where he wished for drinks, he got water;

    where he wished for riches, he got a Construct developer!

    Thus our frustrated hero howled at the artifact."

    Moral of the story: just keep rubbing, eventually you'll figure out how to make it grant your exact desires.

    This. all of it.

    You sir, win at the internet.

  • Where do you come up with these ideas?? LOL! Crazy game man. I like it a lot... the graphics are really nice. I agree that the objects are a little hard to click on sometimes... it seems the hit boxes are a little too small perhaps. The best score I could get was around 1800.

    Nice work
