  • While it's cold and snowing in the UK, it's scorching hot down under in Australia. Melbourne just had it's hottest recorded day of all time, reaching 46.4C (~116F). Insane!

    Yeah the two week long heat wave we have been having over here in Adelaide finally subsided today... a lovely 25 degrees C (it felt cold). We hit 46 as well sometime last week, and had several days in a row over the 40 mark. Shit sucks.

  • Why do people spray graffiti over walls?

    Expressing themselves. The same with virus makers, hackers, graveyard and streetlight vandalizers.

    Assholes should be banned from expressing thier bullshit, since nobody else wants to hear/see it.

    Stuff like graffiti is cool as long as it's not used in a vandalizing manner... but anything that damages and/or causes harm to someone or someone's property is childish and makes me want to kick some nuts.

  • I've got a wired 360 controller that I use for driving games and stuff like that on the PC. With vista you just plug it in and away you go... no drivers or anything are required.

    Btw Dave... if you want, there are better third party drivers for the controller available for download. You will just have to serach for them, but they are called XBCD (I have v1.07 on my XP box) and they are MUCH better than the Microsoft "official" drivers.

  • I don't know if it'd work as a plugin... its extremely CPU intensive while generating the audio.

    It could still be a plugin... but not a runtime plugin... it would have to be a new feature in construct, similar to say, the sprite editor. Maybe a synth editor?

    By the way, that was freakin awesome! That was all randomly generated? Even I can make music if that's the case! xD

    I played until about level 4 and it crashed out on me for some reason. "unexpected error has occured". I guess I'll try again later... I've been trying to get to bed for the last 30 mins lol.

  • I've often wondered about this myself... and I still haven't worked it out. I love maximum resolution, with elaborate graphics... why make a game that plays good but looks like a turd when you can make a game that plays good and looks more like a polished turd instead?

    I say make it big. And if it doesn't fit on your monitor, then buy a bigger monitor.
