  • Thanks guys.

    - I don't know what the problem could be. I haven't had any problems, nor has my brother who has Vista. Do you have the 64-bit version?

Nope.. standard 32bit edition. I have only tried it on the laptop though... I'll give it a test on my main system when I go see my friend next. Might even be tonight, but if not it will be in the next few days... will report back to you

  • Wow, Niger in Africa has 233 out of 1000 births being made by underage (teen) girls... the UK on has 20 out of 1000 D:

I guess there are muchworse cases... 11 times worse...

  • yeah it's a good game but for me it's a bit slow, anemic...personaly i think Dead Space was better.

Yeah it's a slower paced game, but personally I feel that for a true horror/thriller game it's the only way to be. It really makes you jump out of your seat! If the enemies were flying at you fast and furious, it wouldn't be scary in my opinion. Dead Space was also a killer game

Not sure if it uses the cryengine or not? I think it could even be coincedental, since it runs WAY faster than Crysis, looks better, AND has PhysX support... there's no way this could be using that dodgy engine unless they rewrote it and fixed it properly.

This is the first of games you will see that use the PhysX stuff... maybe Construct will use PhysX technology in the future as well? This would make the physics behaviour even more awesome since you could have 100x the objects without the "collapse" thing that happens.

  • Awesome Russian horror game for the PC. Currently there is no english release of the game, but there are subtitle translations you can download and patch into the game.

Highly recommended if you like horror games!

The game takes place on a wrecked ice breaker ship near the north pole. The mysterious "cold" is taking over the ship and it's undead inhabitants and the only way to end it all is to restore heat to the ship!

Check out the official website: http://www.cryostasis-game.com/

You can also download the Cryostasis Tech Demo through Gamespot, to see if your computer can handle it! Using the newly released Nvidia PhysX technology, you will need a reasonably high end nvidia card to play.

Tech Demo can be downloaded from here: GAMESPOT DOWNLOAD

Lastly, here are some schmexy screenshots for you to drool over

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Adjusting the index value shuffles them around so its possible. Its just a case of making the events organised enough that it doesn't get confusing or messy.

If you have 8 spots and you have a sword that takes up 4, and 4 different potions which take up 1...then how would you move the sword about? Would you just drag and drop it over the potions, and everything else would automatically shuffle to give the sword room ?

It would be exactly like in Diablo II... if you don't have slots available, you have to drop the item and reshuffle your inventory spaces to make room. A lot of people found that "annoying" but I find it in true RPG spirit... reordering your bag-o-goodies to shovel in one last treasure! You can always swap a smaller or same sized item for something bigger (or same sized >.>) but putting a larger item in place of a smaller one would require the spaces to be there already.

You could always make an "auto sort" function (like in Sacred 2) which arranges your inventory for "best fit".

  • lol 10 years, with that attitude itll be delayed to 30 lmao

LOL, give him a break.... he just admits he's lazy and it will take a long time... unlike myelf and lots of others here who pretend it's gonna be a quick job and it ends up taking forever anyway xD

Now, getting back to what I was working on.... NOTHING!

  • OK, so this isn't a tutorial, but a few people here may find this handy.

It is a FREE web based drawing package, which was designed for but not exclusively dedicated to drawing floor plans. This could be handy for drawing maps or other things like top down shooter games that take place indoors?

Anyway, check it out... it's FREE and seems pretty powerful.

  • I'm running Vista as well... looks like there may be a problem in the way the ELSE function is processed in Vista with the latest build?

    ~Sol

  • Aw dernit! but that means more work!

    Lulz.

    It's not THAT hard

It would be kind of handy in ways... but I guess if you know it's going to have to be 50+5 or whatever, why not just put 55 in the value in the first place?
