  • Isn't it easier to edit your audio (original source) in something like Audition or Audacity to have a fade out? That's the route I would take Audacity is free and very usefull for this sorta stuff.

I think PSI means situations when you can't predict the length of the sound/music, for example when moving from menu to a game layout.

You can of course already code it, but I agree, it would add an easy and fast way to polish our games.

  • C2 - 178

  • I got game center working today. My problem was my iPad wasn't set to developer-sandbox mode for game center. I am now able to test it in xcode on my device.

Nice! What version of C2, CocoonJS plugin and the Cloud Compiler did you use?

I have to compile our new project soon and that info would be really helpful.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Wow, nice stuff! Loving the minimalistic style. Also, audio is already super in both prototypes.

  • I have a 100MB game and don't want to purchase anything without being 100% it's working

The premium account is also free and the limit is 200mb. You can apply from the Ludei site.

That 100mb I was talking about is just the limit App Store has, anything above that and the user must be connected to wifi to download.

  • What is your solution to the 15MB app size limitation?

Yup, I have a premium account. Also, I try to keep games under 100mb too, so that people can dl them without wifi.

I make small mobile games, so that is fine. When in Rome...

  • Everyone here knows CocoonJS has it's flaws, but until PhoneGap is running 60fps with full Game Center support and all the Apple users have switched to iOS8, I have NO other option as an iOS-dev.

Also this is business, so I do not take things personally. That means I do not care about the reasons behind this newfound interest in C2. As long as things work, I am content and keep using their service.

  • Yes - I should have made that clearer in the blog post I guess - PhoneGap is now equal to Ejecta on all our performance benchmarks, not just that one. It makes sense because they both are currently GPU accelerated but not JIT-compiled. WKWebView adds JIT compilation so will allow PhoneGap to pull way ahead of Ejecta, instead of simply being equal.

Ah yes, this is so awesome. Also people seem to upgrade to iOS 8 even faster than 7. This is really, really good news.

  • Ok, so I downloaded the latest CJS-plugin build from GitHub, and...

Soo, what am I doing wrong here? I can preview the game normally when I press retry/ignore and even build it to my iPhone without problems.

I am using beta r181, by the way.

  • I just tested the new CocoonJS Plugin and it runs smoothly with version 179.

    Ok, thank you!

  • Has anyone tested how does the newest Github CJS-plugin work with r180?

  • Also, if you use CocoonJS-plugin in your project you naturally need to change those. I am looking into this same thing myself, because I need to convert all my released and current projects sooner or later...

  • I am using Macbook Pro myself - Bootcamp and Windows 7 work fine!
