  • Don't I have to be online to use the launcher?

  • I had Construct 3 0n my computer and was making a game with it.

    I had gone to the C drive and made a copy of the startup icon and posted it on the desktop to use.

    Everything was working fine until today.

    Now I opened it once and signed in like I normally do. when I came back to it the program was gone from my C drive and the shortcut no longer worked.

    I can go to the site and open Construct3 online with full registration but when I look for the program on my C drive it is nowhere to be found.

    Does this mean I can only use the program online now?

    I also lost the game I was working on.

  • The tutorial only has 2 layers. One has the game and the other has the score.

    I cannot change layers because that would put me looking at the score box.

    If I choose Destroy, it destroys the monster that has the collusion and leaves the rest to go around and multiply.

    There must be a way to end the game.

    It is evening here so I am going to shut down for the night. I wil be back online again tomorrow.

  • I have finished the tutorial on the first shooter game and at the end it says it is finished after the player dies.

    When I test it the player dies and the monsters just keep going on like he is still there.

    The tutorial says it is finished and then give instructions to download it to my computer.

    How do I end the game and put the screen up to show Game Ended and Press Start to try again?

  • I watch how long he plays each game. He doesn't know one type from another.

    He also only speaks Tagalog which I do not speak.

    He does seem to like platform games and shooting games. He will play them to the end and then say Game Over.(His only English words.)

  • I am just starting out and I have an 8 year old tester who doesn't speak English who comes by.

    He seems to like RPG (Roll Playing games and Platform games. The simpler the better as he cannot read very well yet.

  • I saw this screen once somewhere and now I cannot find it.

    My computer loads a Beta version and somewhere along the line it is back to loading the Stable edition.

    I need to make sure I am not closed out of my programs when I come back on like I am now.

  • I finally went into the C drive on my computer and found the Loader and the C3 program on my hard drive. I then made a shortcut for the program from the hard drive file and put that on my hard drive. I then had to log in online to get the program to open with the purchased edition. Then I redid the copy to prevent it from opening with the guest copy.

    This is not as easy as it is supposed to be.

  • I still must have my Internet turned on and then it keeps loading me as a Guest even though I sighed up for a one year membership yesterday.

    I must log in each time to use it completely.

    I don't know how to download it as an app on Chrome. I cannot find a button to do that.

  • I am trying to make a simple platform game to see if I can understand Construct3.

    I am using the trial version and don't like having to go online every time I want to do something.

    How do I download the program?

    My computer downloaded the asset pack for the Platform tutorial but I cannot open it.

  • I have been away for about 5 years and I have several in store package purchases.

    I am operating Windows7 on a PC.

    How do I install the store purchases? It seems I can download them but then they stay there after I unzip them. I want to put them in my game folder so I can use them.

  • Cannot play it on a PC using Keyboard and mouse.

  • I managed to stay on track.. sort of. I am on page 6 of the Platform tutorial now and plan to get back to it on Monday if I don't get to it during the weekend.

    I also have set aside time to draw so I can eventually make Sprites and comic strips.

  • Almost a year and I am still not learning to focus.

    I am getting a bit more knowledge.

    I now have Indicate, Krista, Acreage 4.5, and Sprinter along with Construct2.

    I also have notebooks. I think I need a notebook to keep track of what is in the other notebooks.

    I am 76 now so I better get focused soon.

    Oh yes, I picked up a program to make comic books for my son and have dabbled with that.

    Now I feel my sidetrack has been sidetracked.lol.
