How do I set the update preferences?

I saw this screen once somewhere and now I cannot find it.

My computer loads a Beta version and somewhere along the line it is back to loading the Stable edition.

I need to make sure I am not closed out of my programs when I come back on like I am now.

The menu button in top left > Settings > Updates. It will forget your preference though if you clear cache/cookies.

It seems to be set to the stable versions so I am going to just begin all over. I need the practice.
