I do get this problem a lot, myself, but my text is recovered in Chrome if I hit "back" on the browser.
pixel perfick,
I saw Tom fixed the arcade ratings in the new thread you made.
=)
Thanks, Tom! Tonight's gonna be a festival of arcade-playing and rating. =P
As a junior developer, I actually find it really inspirational / thought-provoking to try to stay on top of what other people are doing with the kit. Even games which aren't as well executed help reinforce design principles and issues I might run into.
I see what you mean, the transparent pixels extend farther up than one expects. It didn't wind up being an issue for me because I first clicked on the link, and then the second time I saw it, closed it with the X and never saw it again.
I'll have to double-check at home. I didn't notice any problems earlier, but it bears investigation.
No problems in Chrome for me.
Thanks for reposting over here, pixel perfick. I'm sure a lot us are looking forward to being able to help rebalance the recent games' ratings.
ramones,
It looks like you got your badges back: is everything there?
Tom, Woot! Thanks, squared away now, and the consecutive-release-by-date-order is logical, like we discussed on the earlier thread.
I thought it was an exceptionally well-written tutorial, and I appreciate the explanation of what goes into translating stored coordinates into a visual 3D representation. Favorited!
May be because I'm still getting comfortable with the mechanics, but I'd favor modularity, better tilemaps, and debugger.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Dittos, still not working. Maybe this should be in the Website Issues forum?
Hah, that's a GREAT destruction animation!
The fighter's very easy to maneuver, and the frame rate was generally 60, although it would occasionally flicker to 59.
I loaded it multiple times, and the first time, when I fired one set of beams would go forward, and the other backward.
Indeed. Deaths were usually dead ends. Normal scores are circa 700, but the average gets dragged down by 150sthe and such.
