The transparent area of your 40% off spring sale banner is clickable causing issues when folks try to click the submit button in the forums as it often falls into that transparent area... Just wanted to give you a heads up... this happens to me in IE. Ashley, Tom
This happens to me in Firefox as well.
No problems in Chrome for me.
If you have the page scrolled to where the submission box is lower than the head of the monster on the left hand side of the banner you do not get the issue RandomExile?
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
I'll have to double-check at home. I didn't notice any problems earlier, but it bears investigation.
The damn thing has me really pissed off actually. I don't mind seeing the ad a time or two, but popping up on every page throughout the forums has me extremely annoyed. Is there any way to disable it?
clicking the X button on the right hand side seems to get rid of it across all pages for me. Not sure if it will come back on the next visit or not though.
I see what you mean, the transparent pixels extend farther up than one expects. It didn't wind up being an issue for me because I first clicked on the link, and then the second time I saw it, closed it with the X and never saw it again.
Sorry, this was something overlooked when I designed it. However as someone else mentioned simply press the 'X' in the top right of the banner and it shouldn't show for you again.
I keep closing it and it just keeps coming back. Is there any way to block it? Can it be smaller? It takes up about a fifth of my screen.
if you have Adblocker, you can "select element to hide" and add it to the blocked objects. I know, not the best solution.
I've split it into two images now so it should be less interfering.

Awesome! Thanks, both of you!
