    Doing a plugin I messed up the en-US translation vs aces.json part. Technically I had a {0} in the translation file but nothing aces.json side... The plugin fialed loading and now everytime I start C3 I get the same error, impossible to get forward... The Save open projects is greyed out. How do I remove the plugin from there?

    With all the fuss this topic did not generate, adding the fact that I totally hate C3 and said I will never buy it for known reasons, we have totally moved away from Construct products for our next planned games. We are finishing up the current one and we'll disappear from here. Will check with AirConsole what they think and if someone's gonna do it. If not, I'll do a quick portage and the rest will be left open to merge requests on Github

  • cranberrygame the cordova game send me an error (sign in required 4) and the cordova IAP make my app crash and the Cordova ad admob is not fetchable by cordova on my pc it throws me an error (can't fetch cordova ad admob sdk)

    Sign in required:

    • Make sure you have correctly set the app_id in config.xml before building to apk

    IAP making the app crash:

    • Make sure you have set the license correctly in C2 IAP plugin properties before exporting. Your license id is to be found on your google play console

    Admob:

    • I have no idea

    That tutorial is horrible since it only teaches you how to use scirras multiplayer plugin and all it is is a webRtc interface aka Peer to peer only, No client /server architecture that a good portion of todays multiplayer games use because peer to peer is horrible

  • Problem Description

    We are working in team using git to work together. XML is not a bad format to work in teams, no doubt about that.

    But I'm Swiss, french part, others are UK and Greece. They have an english layout

    They problem when using keyboard events is that construct 2 writes the names of the keyboard keys in file resulting in changes that aren't really changes, and potentially conflicting git merges.

    This is a perfect exemple:

    As we can see, the keys are in FR on the left, and in EN on the right.

    So, how do we stop that from happening?

  • Yes I did. As I said in previous posts, the game is running in Alpha and was working with Scirra's Google play plugin for web pages. The error, I think (found yesterday evening) came from the www/config.xml file where you need to enter your APP_ID, but that's not written anywhere in the documentation Seems to be working for now at least. I have tried this morning and could connect

    On googleplay plugin, I would need to have achievements metadata access, to determine which are unlocked and which aren't.

  • Yes, it's live as an alpha release, downloaded on our phones (some devs and me) through Google Play directly, using the tester's link.

    On web version, using Google Play Scirra's plugin, it was working, so the game does react and is active. I know it's not the same, but just to say, Google Play's side seems to be ok to me

  • AndreasR Thanks for the answer. I follwed every instructions I could (config.xml APP_ID, my app is on Google Play, alpha test is running, I'm a tester etc etc) I just can't make this work, stuck with "SIGN_IN_REQUIRED (4)"
