I think it's going to be a similar apk compiling and publishing process but we need to be able to access the API for controllers too, like Arima said

Can't you just use "GamePad" ?

  • ...except the weird remote control...

I think most of the "games" require you purchase the game controller for $40.

  • From what I can tell, it's no different than publishing for Kindle.

  • It's most likely too early to tell, but would exporting to Amazon App Store support the Fire TV device? GamePad support? I plan on ordering one soon but thought we could maybe start a conversation on it now.

  • Everyone's really going to enjoy the course. Very easy to understand, even if you are new to Construct 2!

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Is there a trick to reducing the number of collision checks that occur per second? I'm currently getting over 1600 in my current project and it seems to be affecting performance a bit. As I delete objects it gets smoother so I'm thinking I have to reduce the number of collision checks I am getting.

  • Not really sure why you PM'd me about this, but no I don't know how to integrate IAP purchase into OUYA. FWIW, Starting next month, OUYA will no longer require games be FREE to download with an IAP option. You can just sell your game like any other platform.

  • Anyone tried this yet?

  • Very nice, I'd love to know more about wii-u and what could be published there with c2. I know its a stated platform c2 can reach, but has anyone actually been through the process of getting a game made with c2 all the way to the e-store?

Yes, my game BLOK DROP U, is made using Construct 2 and has been published in the North American Nintendo eShop.

  • This is certainly great news for those like me who have struggled trying to get IAP working for OUYA.

  • PM Sent

  • Please ask about the state of OUYA support, more specifically the in-app purchase option.

  • Bump - received a few inquiries, but would like a few more to choose from if you are interested.

  • Hello all!

I had luck finding an artist here last time and hopefully I can find another. I am looking for an additional 2D artist to help work on an update to an existing property while my other artist works with me on my new project. Was going to wait until after my current project is complete to take this on, but don't want to feel I have to rush it. So basicly I am looking for an experienced 2D artist, mainly in pixel art, but vector is fine too. The work will be on updating the graphics and adding some new ones for an existing Wii U game. I would prefer to work on an hourly basis and take it one step at a time to spread the cost of the project over a period of time. Once you have been chosen, I will require that you sign a Non-disclosure Agreement(NDA), to ensure you don't speak of the contents of the title while in development. Would like to begin this project around middle or end of April and have it completed by the end of May. I could start sooner, but that would all depend on your hourly rate. Please feel free to contact me via PM or email ().

Thank you so much for your time!

  • digitalsoapbox It is hard to say exactly. I applied during GDC2013 before the program rolled out so it took about 6 months to get in, but now it is a much shorter wait than that.... or at least that is what I have been told.
