Amazon Fire TV Games

Amazon Fire TV has just been announced with game support. I wanted to start a discussion about Construct 2 possibilities and integration. Do you think it will be possible to get Construct 2 games on it?

It's most likely too early to tell, but would exporting to Amazon App Store support the Fire TV device? GamePad support? I plan on ordering one soon but thought we could maybe start a conversation on it now.

Apparently amazon appstore submitted android games can land on Fire TV.

Looks cool, I'm interested in that second screen functionality too. I also like how apparently it can use other controllers that people already have.

I guess we'd need to find out if crosswalk could support the APIs for it.

From what I can tell, it's no different than publishing for Kindle.

I think most of the "games" require you purchase the game controller for $40.

I think it's going to be a similar apk compiling and publishing process but we need to be able to access the API for controllers too, like Arima said

They claim is supports HTML5 webapps and games as well through a chromium browser, so I wonder how well C2 will perform on it without compiling apks.

Can't you just use "GamePad" ?

I ordered a fire tv, should be here monday. Controllers were all sold out till the 19th though, so i'll use a ouya controller in the mean time. I'll be back with performance and compatibility results asap.
