  The thing is the bones plug wasn't designed to make changing animation frames during mid-keyframe easy. Timing, hotspots, dimensions, etc, can be a pain to set right.

  Yeah pretty much. The resource plug unloads to a random named directory, so you would have to get the directory after its unpacked, and move it to a known directory, like appath.

  Course that would involve another plug as well, file I think.

  Plus you might have to have the 3d object on a different layout as well.

  In theory you could use Rojo's Resource plug, and extract the models from resources.

  But that would only work for an exe, you would still need to include the model for caps.

  Even if a save file is still on hold, some sort of array(2d?) that could be used in just memory would be nice.

  If your loading every frame, and not reusing anything then, yeah there probably will be some issues. Five hundred frames.....

  Might check and see how much the folder containing the frames takes up in disk space.

  You can add animation frames to sprite, and then change the instances frame to loopindex.

  But keep in mind it will be like having all 100 images contained in one sprite with multiple instances. If the images are small, and power of 2 then the vram shouldn't be an issue, but processing be be affected if there are many instances.

  Rojo's way is probably better in terms of performance.

  If your asking for an option in the Construct editor, that's probably not going to happen.

  But on the other hand there's nothing keeping you from going into the folder and removing what you don't want.

  BTW you can select all the bmp's you don't want and right click send to zip, and then select and right click them again and delete.

  The zip shouldn't interfere with anything, and the files are there if you need them later.

  The(edit)^custom bmp's aren't automatically copied over if you make a new directory.
