  • You could make the collisions as a "box", meaning, all pixels in the sprite will be detected.

  • I guess since this was resurrected I can post my problem here.

The other day, I made a post stating that my project, once uploaded to my server, it won't work properly. The project works perfectly in C2 and when exported and run from my computer. But once I upload it to my server, the project loads... but it behaves erratically, and songs do not play. This project is intended as a library of my future game's OST... music files are OGG Vorbis. Folders and files name are completely untouched. I just drop the folder in the server the way it was exported by C2... The errors range from, music not playing to the actual events just stop working. I have no idea what it could be.

  • Yep, the EXE exporter should support all core features (but maybe not all plugins).

Cool! I'm guessing you mean plugins having to do with HTML5 and web apps., right? An EXE wouldn't have much use for some of these, I suppose.

  • Dropdown AND written down expression is my vote. Also, I did no know that C2 did not have a practical way to duplicate layouts?

  • Right now I am not sure if you can make such apps., but in the future, most likely yes. A big difference is C2 isn't complete or nearly close to completion yet. Also, I think they are two very different applications. Another BIG difference I see is the price. *runs away from that site*

  • I *believe* I read a thread somewhere here, where it was said this is planned. But I'm not sure. It would be cool though.

  • Yeah, I'm waiting for this to start my game. Also, I'd like to know if I start it now, will it be compatible later? Like when the EXE exporter comes around?

  • i have seen that software i couldn't get the hang ouf it.

Many people couldn't. I am personally waiting for the new version. Seems very interesting.

  • Or you could use this software or wait for the newer version of it. It is made specifically for that kind of situations.

  • What do you mean? Could you elaborate?

  • Your link gives an error 404.

Also where did you upload your sprites and medias ?

It has probably something to see with your host, not giving access to the files, or the files sitting in the wrong place (not in the right folder or something), else all should be fine.

Pay attention, online, "Player" is not the same as "player" (case-sensitive).

Could be, but this is the process I go through:

    Export app./game.

Zip the folder, named by C2 itself (I never renamed anything)

Upload to my Public folder on my server.

Unzip the contents to its own folder, all names, folders, etc. have been kept, no names have be changed.

I try the app. and it behaves extremely erratic.

    =\</p>

  • I suppose i am since i purchased the standard version.

Weird. Then, do what Ashley said and send an email to licensehelpulh@scirra.com with your username and transaction ID.

  • Okay, since this issue has to do with this same project, I will post here.

All is working well, the project works while in the editor and also after import... problem is, it will not work after uploading it to my server... Not only will the songs not play, but the code itself will not work either. It will work for the play part, but after stopping it, the sprites do not work anymore. O____O

This is kind of weird, I cannot imagine why this is happenning??

    Here's the link.

  • Mine appeared after a little delay.
