  • The plugin does look interesting but personaly id preffer if it would import all the sprite parts in its position and not centered in one spot...

    What other advantage does this plugin has aside of creating customizable bodyparts? Is it better for size and performance than whole animated sprites?

    Did I miss something or changing the animation poses in construct2 is not yet available?

  • Hmm I see, I guess that is also a good enough way to speed up the process. I couldn't find anything in the manual so I though the only way is the right-clicking option.

    I have a small request (wich I hope wont be toomuch work)for the image editor where you manipulate with the collision points on each frame. At the moment it seems the only way to add points is by right-clicking and pick "add point".

    I would love to see a shortcut in the future where for example you could hold ctrl button and then by left clicking, you get a new point over the blue line that is the nearest of the mouse. That way it wont need to go trough hard calculation of moving the line itself to adjust to the new added point and I wouldn't need to go trough the constant right clicking to pick the "add point".

    Would this be possible to make?

    Id also like to read what the community thinks of this addition for the future.

  • Puh, that is quite some pricing for a engine that not only takes forever to learn but I also don't like theyr restrictive licensing on creativity. Just by that I even preffered construct classic before construct2 begun its development and I don't regret to purchase the business license :D I especialy love the amazing amount of updates that we get to try out :)I think you are in the right place, pal

    Id like to request if its possible for the future update of the engine to display the icon of a sprite in its current frame shown in the layout view.

    This would be specificaly helpful in the Z order window when I use more types of solid objects that are put in one sprite object as animation frames. The sprite object itself is not animated but stores the drawn images that have the same function in the game (being solid obstacles for example)but it can be difficult to put them in a Z order when the icon of them all shows by default frame 0.

    im trying to get the movement right but I keep having problems with it.

    (1) Firstly, when I move left or right and at the time then hold up or down button, the angle that I made visible with text calculates according the second activated key button (up or down)

    (2) but this doesn't respond when I first hold up or down button and then press left or right button.

    It is as if the game preffers up and down button over left and right.

    Id preffer it to move like in description(2)

    Another problem im facing is that when im running up and hold right (lets say moving in angle 315) and then press SPACE to jump, the player does respond to it but when I do the same with going slightly left (angle 225), the jump wont respond.

    This contrast response happens also with other dirrections.

    I need the player object respond better so I can use the actions during movement dynamically and right now it becomes difficult to jump over holes that require runn forward with slightly running to left wich causes the jump not respond but works the opposite way.

    Any ideas how to improve this please?

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. open image editor and leave it open

    2. go to event sheet

    3. press D for example to try toggle event or action in the eventsheet

    Observed result:

    rightclicking to add command works fine when the image editor is open but using keyboard shortcut wont respond

    Expected result:

    keyboard shortcut should respond also when the image editor is open

    (it atleast helps me to get the animation names right when I have the list open in animation editor)

  • Tsk, I wouldn't expect that some would go right away with "yeah go get ur money back and check for other software" without even trying to figure out a helpful solution first. Can you perhaps share the file? Im sure it will be easyer to find a solution that way

    I rather wonder why is multiplayer added when its clear that its a popular feature and yet scirra cant handle it...atleast it is so claimed and been already turned down last time when it had the highest votes

    a perspective like camera would be awesome, kinda like in dontstarvegame.com
