  • Man, it's I-M-P-O-S-S-I-B-L-E to contact then and have their permission, the games you see on newgrounds doesn't have the permission to use it, but the truth is, they can't do nothing to harm you, the only thing that they will do is send an e-mail that says "cease and desist", than you stop the production and nothing happens...

The chance you have to recieve an email like that is 0,001%, i know only 1 game that recieved an e-mail like that, and it was the chronno trigger Resurrection and if you see it you will understand why:

    http://www.opcoder.com/projects/chrono/news/

So, you will not recieve any money from the game and you will not harm anyone, so what?s the problem?

    Acess this and be happy:

  • No one can harm you by using grafics from a comercial game into your free game. The only thing they can do is send a e-mail asking you to stop the distribution, and this will only happen if your game makes more sucess than Minecraft...

So, don't waste your time and be happy: http://spriters-resource.com/

If you want to be sure about that, just search for Mario and Zelda fan games and you will find tons of it that use their grafics.

Huge companies like Nintendo doesn't waste their time running against fan games, i think they even like it because fan games only make fans more fans XD

I have a RPG Maker game that use "Tales of" series grafics, and nothing happened.

If you want to see it:

Ah, and remember to say that you does not own the grafics and give credit.

  • So, i know that lucid are working on spriter...but...but...anyone trying to help develop CC?

  • smitchell, Consctruct isn't a non programming engine, it's like a facilitated visual programming engine, it's very different because making a game in construct still needs knowledge in program logic and other programming things.

And like programming, it consumes A LOT of time.

  • "The Construct Classic editor is licensed under the GPL 2.0."

As Ashley says, the editor is GPL, and games maded with it is BSD-licensed.

"However, the runtime is BSD-licensed as of 17th August 2011 (formerly it was also GPL). This means the games you make in Classic are not touched by the GPL license. "

"In short: you can make commercial games, royalty-free, in Construct Classic."

  • The topic that talk about this:

    scirra.com/forum/commercial-creations-in-construct-updated-aug11_topic34142.html

And its on the first page of this session...

  • AMD Athlon XP 2.4

    1024 MB ram

    NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 128MB

    Windows XP

    DirectX 9.0c

I said that blot pass through the plataform, but looking now he just disappear when touch the ground.

Wow, now i tested again and it works, but when i enter the Play door he goes to the other room and passed through the ground and fall forever, thats very strange...

And all that with 5 fps, or worse.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I have some strange thing to tell, i just cant play, on the menu, when blot get out of the logo he pass through the plataform, and i cant choose any doors...

Maybe it is something with the fps, i think my pc is running it with 5 fps, or worse...

Sorry, i know that my pc is old, but its unlikely to make a indie 2D game that can only be played on newer computers, someone that has a new computer will play the "new ultra-power generation games", otherwise it will only be played by people that support the indie games cause.

Maybe a grafic config option on the initial screen can fix that.

  • Make a global variable named Time, set it to 5 on start of layout.

Put an Always event that says:

Set Globlal Variable: global variable Time - Time Delta

Put an global variable condition event and do:

When global variable Time <= 0

    Close aplication

  • Thats really, really nice. I tested the normal version and cant do anything. Even with the video tutorial Oo.

This new version seems to be very easy to learn.

But dont you think that the time line needs a numeric visibility of the animations time?

Your works are truly amazing lucid, when my card game gets on late stages i sure will try to hire you for the online plugins XD

  • aolko are you angry about something?

The forum is very clean and easy to find what you requested.

If you had looked on the website the information you wanted instead of complaining, certainly would have found earlier.

  • I think its impossible to compare CC and C2, CC uses Phyton and C2 uses HTML5, its a huge diference.

If i try to play a game that has 5 sprites in the screen on that has been made on C2 my computer nearly explodes.

If i try to play a game that has more than 800 sprites in the screen that has been made on CC it works fine.

So, i have nothing more to say...

But if you are trying to say about development of CC, lucid answered your question.

  • Thanks for the improvements guys!

Going in that way Construct Classic will become free of bugs someday.

But i have a question, what are this orthogonal projection? Whats the diference between the two projections?

    Sorry for my ignorance.

  • 5-8 here Oo

  • I think i found a bug on Plasma object, i tried to paste it on an object and it crashes. I tried on three different .cap files and the same happens.

Can someone test this to confirm?
