  • i try to understand today WHY and how to use layer ... but still confusing

    try to read performance and optimisation tutorial on forum

    if still same , you have to post . capx to see what go wrong

    i believe that construct 2 can do fantastic game with nice effect ... just take look too scierra game but we have to learn more and more about different features AND every one his own logic .... an action can be made by different way ... it depend of every person logic

  • is using scale inner or outer cause that ? (personnaly i'm using scale inner and centrate / ajust the game)

  • Personally, I'd love to see global variables get their own window, outside of the event sheets entirely, with additional support for sorting them into trees and branches. I usually end up putting all my global variables into a separate event sheet anyway, so they're out of the way (since they can't be put into groups), but then having to switch back and forth between that sheet becomes a bit of a chore. If we could have a window that can always be open, and easily arranged, that would save a whole lot of time.

    + 100 for organisation (and maybe to optimize and bug fix quickly and safely) ... like using groups / families

    + 0 for optimization / fsp / cpu memory render ...

  • i don't understand why for exemple .... iphone 4 can run complicated games in appstore faster and very playable

    and my games made by c2 are little slow ... is it because using ejecta and wrapper ? or there is something i forget ?

    any one can give us an exemple of complicated game running good on iphone 4 ?

    iam using sprinte font to set score every 1 secondes (and webgl desabled) ...

    if i will use ashley's new beta or text font ... it will optimise some lagging ?

  • I can't disable webgl in construct for Ejecta. It reads it as enabled... although I use latest unstable build of Ejecta.

    In terms of FPS, webgl is supposed to help you run your game faster, but there is a bug with spritefont on mobile, and it runs bigger spritefont texts awfully.

    can you sen me the link of lastest ejecta unstable ?

    maybe i don' t use c2 as well ... but believe me my game is simple ... and i see difference between iphone 4 and 4s using ejecta

    i have trying all issues ... enable collisions only when it is necessaire , families, event group, avoiding every tick, using spritefont for score, and all performance tips on tutorial for c2 (optimize image size as it is used on game,avoid transparent,avoid clear background to no etc....).... i get some result .... but still same

    on xcode

    cpu usage is 80%

    memory usage is 86 mb

    fsp is between 37 and 42
