    i want to make my character use a certain ability when -on touch hold- button used. If he only touches the button for a moment, there is already a different action asigned to the same button. So basicaly i would like to do 2 actions on one button. When pressed and held and then single touched {which i already have done}.

    I tried the command on hold on hold gesture but it doesn't seem to work...

    Today i found out, that my collisions (enemy sprites interacting with main hero) are behaving very randomly when testing on mobile. Imediately i tried to run my game on the desktop, and there was no problem! Im testing on an iPhone 5, have an average fps of 25-30 on Canvas+ and there's nothing too CPU expensive going on in the colision events. Just testing for overlaping, height and invulnerability when coliding or overlaping with enemy sprite. There are cca max 4 enemy sprites on screen at one time.

    This situation is quite iritating as i expect the basic game mechanics to work even in low fps. This is far from low fps so my question naturaly is how do i get this to work properly ??

  • Thanks for the capx. It looks like the wait command is not functioning on the sprites i need to animate. On touch button i need to first finish the animation of the button and then run the events.So far it worked with wait command but i guess i have to find another solution. I will try on animation finished or something else...if you have any idea let me pls know thx

    When i hit pause button, my game pauses via time scale and a game menu with options gets visible. However i want my buttons to have animation at this time and even though i have the event object time scale for the buttons set to 1, it doesnt seem to work. Anybody got an idea what am i doing wrong? Is this the proper way to have an ingame menu on pause event? Thanks!

    I noticed a bad bug when using point sampling in Webview+ in cocoonjs. It draws all the sprites not in 100 perc scale but interpolating in a strange way. This basicaly destroys pixel game graphics...Anyone noticed this or found a solution??

  • A0Nasser im using variable "right" and "left". Left = simulate direction left, wait x time, change variable to right. Which is the same only simulating direction right. Im going to have a look at the Capxs around here

    I have a moving platform in my game and my question is how do i make the next platforms move with slightly different timing? So that they dont move at the same time. preferably so that the code isnt too cpu expensive.

    Is there a way to show some kind of progress bar when a layout is loading? Im loading a short intro sequence in my main menu - after player hits plat button. There is aprox 3-4 sec waiting time when nothing happens and i want to show at least a loading screen.

  • Hi all,

    i want the enemy to shoot every X seconds (which is no problem) but starting already with the 0 second...and then every x second. Because when my character moves toward the enemy and timer starts, its already too near him when he begins to shoot. Any ideas?
