    another suggestion i can give you is to not waste your artist's time until you have more expirience using C2... until you know how to do things 100% clear... then you can ask to add animations and complicated assets...

    but until... make test and prototype and use place holder sprites form the net... like i did with this capx...

    you are asking for A key is down, this will trigger every tick

    try using On key A pressed...this will only trigger once...

    and play with on key realeased and variables to manage the animation...

    look at this capx, jsut imagine the red square frames of animation is the turning animation (sinbce i could not find any animation that has ones).... this is a very easy solution, it may not be what you are looking for since this is very basic, but i think this should give you an idea, you can set an animation to loop to certain frame fo the animation, thats how i loop the walking and not form the begining.... any questions?? i hope this helps...

  • hey guys, i have a question, is there a way to dont have the package.nw after exporting on node-webkit??

    this file includes ALL the game graphics, but i really dont like the idea of just giving away ALL the graphcis of the game right away... i wont mind that after 1 year of my game released i can release the graphics, but i would like 1 year of break time, but the way the export works right now, the graphics and assets will be all there at 100% quality for anyone...

    is there any way to hide the package.nw at least?

    i can report the same problem... after i donwloaded r181 i cant use c2... when i open my large project (4000) events it just freezes and lags... when i look at my cpu... its using 30% on construct... my pcs its powerful...

    i was working perfectly on r179 and before...im also using a lot of plugins and shaders

    my game runs well on canvas 2d... but my game will be very big... (about 500mb of Vram used) i dont think cpu accleration will cut it to keep the fps at 60...

    i have a very important questions... i was tenting my pre alpha game at the pcs of the animation studios where my boyfriend used to work....i tried in about 10 pcs, but none had webgl activated....in that case

    what steps to enable webgl would you recommend me to tell my costumers if their pc does not have webgl activated?? im thinking on poping a warning msg at the start if webgl is not activated... but i dont know what to say...

    where do you activate webgl??? is there an installer?? i know some gpus are baclklisted... this is another problem...

    any recommendations? thanks in advance n.n

    i recommend you to fist spread the word about your game so you can get fans... so you will get votes on green light...otherwise its possible you game will get stuck on greenlight...

  • thankfully im making my game for pc triying really hard to stay under 400mb... but it may be impossible.... so my maximum will be 700-800 mb

  • although.... there is one think i really would like c2 to have... native resolution...so i can give the player the option to choose the resolution they want... instead of just scaling no matter what...

    and i agree that plugins so useful like, FSM, magicam and canvas should be officially included and supported...
