  I'm guessing your ImagePoint origin is not consistent between your frames or your sprite frames are different sizes. Keep your canvas the exact same size across all your frames for both "running" and "idle" and make sure your origin point is in the same location.

  Use the System, For Each condition. You shouldn't really need to animate a sprite if it's off screen. Might as well stop it's animation instead. Hope that helps!

  I just tested and it opens for me. Are you sure you are opening up Construct 3 and clicking File and opening up the c3p file? You can't simply double click c3p files.

  BTW, I did discover a bug where the ball was getting further and further away from aiming towards the middle, as it gets lower and lower, it eventually almost goes horizontal with the circle line. It then touches the bar and I can spin around and around with the ball never actually bouncing while I rack up lots of points.

  There's so many different ways you can approach this. Here's an example with the player following the mouse at a delayed speed so that the player isn't too quick. The player always aims the direction the mouse is from the player. Hope this is enough to get you started.

  I'm comparing when the gun is on frame 1. Then creating an image on imagepoint1 which I created as the location in front of the gun. Check out my notes in the c3p file. Hope that helps.
