  • What kind of fullscreen scaling do you use?

Is pixel rounding on or off?

    What is the project size?

What is the window size in Android?

  • Dictionaries are not ordered, you can't access entries

    ???

Doesn't the tokenat() expression work for that, or am I misunderstanding you?

  • How would I make an if-else statement in construct?

Adding a "system else" event would do..

  • I tried doing it through Browser Object but it's not working when it convert the code to HTML5 format. I ultimately want to convert this program in html5 format. Kindly recommend what should i use.

I have no idea what you mean by converting the code to html5 format..

Could you explain what you want to embed exactly?

  • Hello, TheDom! Thanks for giving me a bit of your time

So, yes, all the collisions and image points are ok, i tried to change some things but nothing seems to make any difference, like using the bounding box collision from the Physics behaviour or making all the graphics with pair numbers for the size.

Well, here is the Capx, so you can better understand what's going on.

    And thank you again!

You will need to upload a capx, not a caproj file for others to take a look..

  • Any reason why it wouldn't?

  • Actually, using the dictionary object would be perfect for this..

  • You could give an instance-variable to the overlapping objects, on overlap set an instance variable on the player to it and check for that variable on start of the new layout and set the player position accordingly..

  • Make a Family of the same (or all) objects, then check against colliding with the Family. You now always have two unique objects to work with.

Or you could use "system pick nth instance", but the family solution is much easier..

  • There are so many ways to do this, it would be important to know more to not choose the wrong way for your project..

  • Hey. Got my controls set up like this: Left side of screen to shoot fireball, right side to jump, swipe to slide. But if I swipe, it shoots or jumps depending on where I swipe. Is there a way to ignore a touch action if I'm swiping? So I don;t accidentally do those other 2 moves?

    Thanks for the help.

Are you using "on tap" ?

(because that shouldn't trigger on a longer touch)..

  • Try Construct 3

  • Could you explain more?

What is the object "orbiting" and how is this "orbiting" achieved right now?

  • Are you looking for the execute javascript of the Browser-object or would you like to load the code through Ajax?

  • Your problem seems to be the opposite of what you are saying..

The tiles arent displaced, they still start counting from the top left as intended..

  • It would probably be easier if you shared your capx, so we can check this ourselves..

For example, it could be you are trying to create the revolute joint every tick..

    Just another thought:

I would only use physics if it is absolutely nescessary for your game and can't be faked in any way..
