  Does it take you a long time to figure out simple logic sometimes? I've literally spent 4 hours trying to figure out a simple thing and I still can't figure it out. Am I the only one?

  From the tutorials I watched, the person made a new layout and sprite sheet for each level. If I have 15+ levels and each one has a layout and a sprite sheet, does that slow the game down?

  How do I get the instance id? I used the manual and I know inst.get_iid() is what gets it but WHERE do I put it?

  The basic concept is that I choose which platform will be visible. What I need to do is grab the IID of the most recently created platform, compare it to the random choice of which platform that will be visible (1 or 2) and make it visible. I just have no idea WHERE to put the inst.get_iid() because there is no 'get' option under system that i'm aware of.

  What causes sudden, erratic gameplay? 95% of the time, the game works fine but occasionally, my sprites would go haywire and act like lunatics. How do I avoid this? I would hate to publish something and have this problem for the users.

  I have the platforms so they blink.

  When they initially turn invisible, it seems to work where the sprite would fall through; however, if I land on the platform and it turns invisible while I'm still on it, how do I make the sprite fall through it?

  I want to have blinking platforms in my game. I use flash. In the manual, it says "The Flash behavior makes an object blink by toggling its visibility on and off for a period of time."

  I tried this:

  But it disabled the solid completely, not just when it's invisible.

  What can I do to have a blinking platform that is solid when it's visible and not solid when it's invisible?

  I would like to suggest the ability to copy layers to other layouts.

  If I have a simple game with multiple levels, but with each new level, there are directions that include the old directions and new ones, it would be much easier to copy an entire layer of texts rather than dragging and retyping everything out.

  I have things in my game that move at a certain speed during normal play, but when I start to play it in debugging mode, the platforms will go at a much different speed, and sometimes one platform will move faster than the others, when they are ALL supposed to move at the same speed. Why would playing it in debugging mode affect it's speed? Is it because all the information at the bottom are loading? Which 'version' do I trust? The regular play or the debugging play?
