  • This was a fun Match Game demo

But while it is a very good example I am a little confused on how it works. How can I add pictures to the bottom of the Cards?

It looks like it is in the Star of layout/For each element section but after that I am at a loss.

  • Well most major games start with block test graphics then up the quality as the game progresses.

My suggestion is make your game with primitive graphics and once you have a game you will get your choice of artists wanting to contribute.

  • Great movie I watched it because it was posted here.

I was creeped out by the one naked scene but after thinking about it proved to make the file even better. That scene was a huge in how much it told about what was really going on.

I am wondering how the remake will fare? In fact why do a remake?

  • Looks AMAZING, I just ordered it from the library, Can't wail till it gets here!

  • This works on my current project

  • Since you are very competent with C++ then for games I could switch to XNA Games Studio and C#. It seems to be the future for gaming, and the price is right

  • WOW this looks nice!

Can you add pictures to the demo?

  • Why not just use lucid's Xbox 360 controller? I know that it is different than a full fledged joystick but may make the game more universally accepted and may be more stable in the future.

  • Hi Karl,

Very pretty graphics. Why not post your cap and let people play with it. Maybe you need some early restructure that will help with future development. Many games are doomed because of a bad start.

Also seeing what you have so far might inspirer someone to pitch in.

Best of luck on your new game,'

  • I have never had that happen on any of the (even buggy) versions of construct. Can you give more info?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • PixelRebirth I have a fun idea for your puzzle tutorial into a game.

Premise: You are a molecular engineer at a power plant. By manipulating like subatomic particles you create power, but at a costs. Every time you move a particle it costs energy. So how long can you keep your power station operational?

    Game:

    Moving a particle costs energy

3 or more particles in a row create energy (bonus for 4+)

If you run out of energy you lose

High score board for total energy created

Anyone else with ideas? Specials? Bad particles? Time attacks?

  • I have been using Game Maker for some projects for their Dialogue Box plugin. Can anyone make a plugin like this for Construct?

    Features:

    * You can hide and make it visible

    * Has a border

    * You can change the picture

    *cool comic book font

    * when you add text it inserts it 1 letter at a time, like it is being typed.

All of this of course sits over top of you game screen.

  • But I loved archon back in the c64 and amiga days, and had considered making a similar game myself for construct or android.

Archon was amazing! Too bad ea deiced games like Archon and MULE are not worth there time.

lucid if you ever decide to tackle that I am in for helping with the graphics.

    *note*

    Hijack over

  • I wonder if I could persuade Google to write an exporter for Construct 2 instead?

    Oooooo......

Actually Android powered phones will eventually take over and bury the iphone. Apple never learned their Mac lesson and keeping the iPhone a closed system. Android had taken a look at history and going the PC route.

The only thing that iPhone has over Android is a head start but Android is coming up fast. The newest versions are sic.

  • One big thing they need to change is the web page, there is very little to see and no examples, tutorials, or visuals before you down load and install. For example in construct I can see what construct looks like, how it works, and even read the ghost shooter tutorial before I down load anything. Construct has a very nice preview of what you are getting into before you commit.
