  • by the way, when you say tick sandbox mode, do you mean "Debug Mode"?

    There seems to be no sandbox mode tickbox in the configuration page.

  • Nofish - that's a shame that the IAP doesn't work now that it's in the store - your game looks really awesome!

    I agree with you, I think I might have to just switch to paid too if things aren't worked out in the next week or so. This is so frustrating though <img src="smileys/smiley11.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Nofish, Uk4dee - what are the expected results once you have executed the "Purchase Product IAP" action?

    For me in iOS, it pops up with the following things:

    1. "Confirm your In app purchase" (It references the correct iap I set up in itunes connect

    2.I hit Buy, and then it comes up with: "Verification Required"

    3. I hit continue, and it prompts me to enter my Apple ID Password, which I do

    4. Then it take me to itunes, and pops up with "[environment sandbox]"

    5. I hit continue, and it prompts me to enter my Apple ID password again

    6. repeats the entire cycle again

    If I cancel at any point, the whole process fails.

    I think I'm getting close, but I'm still missing something. <img src="smileys/smiley18.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Guys, good news - I emailed Ludei, and they've said that they have an update in a couple of weeks or so that will upgrade their store functionality. Hopefully this will clear up any of the issues that we're experiencing.

  • Nofish - I ended up starting a new project just to make sure I hadn't missed anything. It worked, but I noticed that when I made the purchase, I kept getting prompted to login to itunes, even though I was already logged in with a test account.

    When I logged in it would pop up a new message "Verification Required", and just repeated the same process over and over again.

    Did you ever get anything weird like that?

    Was there anything special you had to do outside of the instructions to get things working?

  • Uk4dee - so did you get IAPs working for cocoon 1.4 as well? This was my first go but I seem to keep getting purchase failures. I've set up the purchase in iTunes connect and it still seems to not work. Was there anything special you did to get things working?

    This is also the last bit I need to make my game releasable <img src="smileys/smiley6.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Has anyone got IGPs working for CJS 1.4?

    I followed an excellent guide by labithiotis:

    However, I can't get it working at all - the transaction seems to fail everytime, even though I had set everything up according to the instructions. I guess a few things may have changed on the cloud compiler side as some of the options in the instructions didn't seem to exist any more. <img src="smileys/smiley19.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    So my question: do IGPs work currently for anyone in Cocoon 1.4?

  • Hi All, can someone plz confirm that IAPs work in the latest version of CJS and C2? I've followed all the instructions, but my purchases seem to constantly return failures.

  • Hi Guys, this Ejecta is looking really promising!

    CJS has been pretty good up to date as well, except I just can't seem to get In Game Purchases working. I guess it works pretty well here then? Is there enough documentation to get IGPs and In Game Ads working? If so I might look at this as another option to CJS.

  • Agreed I think the vast majority of us are very grateful to have CJS, but some expectations aren't being met. I've been reading and participating in many threads, and I can say I don't remember anyone saying CJS is sh*t (maybe 1 or 2 outside the forums here).

    Xionor - I'd refrain from making inflammatory and generalized remarks. You're entitled to your opinion but if you insist on offending everyone, don't expect a lot of respect or assistance in return. Tact goes a long way.

    As far as criticism goes, everyone has a right to criticize a product if they are unhappy with it. Rightfully or not. Generalizing a community is stupid. Stop defending their company, because they are big boys and can come to the forum themselves.
