Yes, everything you mention is of course possible. It all depends on how devoted YOU are to making them. I would recommend simplifying your menu; make something that you can easily understand and edit at will. Don't let the menu be the main design barrier of your game, as no one will care if something is simpler or expands in a certain way. However if you really want all these features you should just sit down and logically rethink your approach. Somethimes things seem impossibly complicated, but more often than not theres a clean and simple solution which just needs to be discovered by rethinking what you did, what problems it has, and ideas for how to fix them. Hope this helps.
Does saving an exe with an installer include a prompt for updating directX to the version construct uses, so that users can easily install and play the distributed game without additional updates? Also is that C++ runtime update (or whatever construct prompts when it installs) required to play games? Thanks.
I recommend you take the path conker did in conker's BFD. Turn this game into an extremely violent, raunchy, and hilarious exploit of an otherwise happy and friendly character.
When you delete a frame in an animation, the picure editor opens up to the first animation for no reason.
EDIT: it also happens when you simply close the picture editor on any animation...
i was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this issue.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
"While" is a loop condition. Having a "while" with an every x milliseconds doesn't really make sense, since "While" runs as may times as it needs to. In your case "While" is making the box grow right away, in 1 frame, becasue the boxsize is between 0 and 20. get rid of the "while" and it should work.
I can't open it. I get the error "An attempt was made to access an unamed file past its end."
yea counter objects are really unnessesary. Plus, having them would ruin swimbas fun. We would'nt want that to happen now, would we?
1. the guy looks like a yellow hitler
2. the music is scary
3. that clown in backgroud in the carnival level is SCARY
4. what the hell do you do in the clown level?
5. this game is VERY weird but i like it for some reason... in a weird way:?
I occasionally get an "error loading MENUBLOCK (random numbers)" when i launch the runtime to test a game. But when i press ok the game launches successfully and the error doesn't appear a second time.
thats really cool. i love the remote part, it's so intense
At first i thought " *sigh* another ghost shooter clone...". When i started playing i was impressed however. You guys took ghost shooter and turned it into 'random dungeon shooter with a polished feel'. Everything about it is good; the sounds, the way shooting feels, the names of the treasures etc. Great work. I think i'm gonna go play it a bit more..
I've had to make this many times before and it's pretty annoying to have an event for each letter. This i why i asked the devs to make a "get key pressed" for the Mouse&keyboard object.
the gameplay seems pretty simple, i doubt it would be a problem for construct.. The only challenging part i could think of (programming wise) is making the cars and pedestrians randomly appear in a realistic manner like in other gta games. Then again Gta wasn't always that realistic in its earlier games. You have to remember that games like gta have large teams dedicated to things like level design and decoration. For one man it would be a mighty task to make a large detailed city.
yes, i noticed this also. using a regular is overlapping with a while causes a crash. however, using advanced overlapping seems to do the trick.
it is just me? does anyone know how to use this feature properly? whenever i replace things it just spits numbers into the thing im trying to replace. im scared to use it because of its corruptive personality!
