    i like the bounce dynamics. very poddlesque

    one thing, a star got stuck in an infinite bounce loop at certain point. if by minute chance that happened to all the stars during game play, that would render the game unbeatable.

  • really nice. im assuming some trial and error was required to get that eye to behave correctly? add some breathing to face for more humanlikeness. blinking maybe? (yes with that quality of graphic i know its pretty much out of the question for a small tech demo lol. but anyways, would make it cool.) this would be perfect for a tittle screen or cutscene. nice work man.

  • must i always reinstall the C++ and directX components each and every time i update to the latest version of construct? if it prompts me im assuming yes, but im just curious. i know with 97.7 i had to get the latest version of directX, but once again, im curious

  • sivyan, get to know the basics of event based programming first. start with small tests and tech demos. get to know construct and its features, and then will you be able to start your big RPG game. ATM you don't know very much about construct, (as to how those graphical glitches got into soldier fortress 2, i do not know. . and btw that old man does look like a veiny smiley taking a rope-like dump. lol

  • 1. make a player holds key down condition

    2.right click it, then click invert condition (this means the event will trigger when the player is NOT doing that action, (holding the key down in your case))

  • ya i have some of those macs in my digital design class. (we also have a few mac pros which i managed to snag to use during class (also i hate the mac mighty mouse! hate hate HATE HATE it! no control whatsoever.

  • is there any condition which lets you compare the fps the application is running at to a value? (thinking timedelta might work somehow...but havent thought it through yet ) i tried writing fps in the expression editor but to no avail.
