  • Anybody else that has picked this pack up have any feedback? I am considering getting it to fill in some gaps I have in some projects. Anyone used these in a game yet? I noticed you have to go to a different site to actually buy it. I always like to check before buying from sites that I am not familiar with. I just want to make sure that the site where you have to buy it is also legit, the title on the site is "Graphics for Games", the url when you go to buy is http;//www.graphicsforfaith.com have any of you bought this?

  • I would try the pin behavior which lets you select which image point you want. No need to do an every tick, as it takes care of that for you.

  • put the capx file on dropbox and post a link to it.

  • dropbox is the usual site for posting capx files. You may also want to try the anchor property/behavior to pin the heart to the corner in your HUD layer...

Also, make sure the heart is actually on the HUD layer and didn't accidently get put on another layer.

  • Really glad to see things taking off for you! Congratulations! Can't wait to see where it all goes, keep it up Drew and Notion Games!

  • your sprite for the player should always be in the layout at start

  • ok I have to ask, how did you get the tiles to change to seamless when there are more than two of the same type?

  • Unfortunately I got sick of pixel style graphics back in the 80's I just don't get excited about retro style graphics as some do. I tend to prefer smoother graphics so much of mine is being generated as vector work then saved to .png. With vector graphics I can still make HD looking graphics without needing to go with expensive apps. I like the smooth edges and gradients I get with vector graphics like inkscape, flash, etc...

  • why do you have a folder called new folder in there? the .js files should be in plugins/PluginName

  • ash1221 My first thought would be a iFrame...

  • A couple of things to try: Check your collision polygons, use a box instead of the default collision polygon. This can cause lots of oddities... also check your frame rate and movement speed, etc... frame loss can lead to clipping into and through objects especially when not using a fixed shape for a collsion poligon.

I can't download the capx as I don't want to create an account on Speedy Share. You may want to start using dropbox if you want others to download your CAPX since most people use it already for previewing their apps...

  • I have noticed that many malware engines pick up files now do the fact they are relatively unknown. I have had issues with Spriter and Construct 2 because the malware engine we use detected that they are files that are not well known and so blocked them. Not saying it is the case with your's but if you dig into the logs it should tell you why it blocked it.
