    I'm still have problems with pivot points and character maps (while importing the project into the current).

    The first problem is that while I choose an object in the files palete the window with pivot point settings appears white or appears with another object I have not clicked.

    The second, is when I import project into another within Spriter there is no transmission for char maps.

    I have not got the possibility to send scml because graphics is not mine and I can't get approval from the other guy but I think it is an obvious bug, I tested it on different computers and it was everywhere. May be the problem with pivot point is a problem about specific Russian encoding? I tried different manipulations and have not find the solution for a lot of time.

    I have tested on the last Spriter beta version

    I don't know Am I wrong, but grand theft auto san andreas size is approximately 2GB.

    P.S: It is not good to target phones with a large rpg(my personal opinion), but if you target IPADS or other tablets the problem with memory usage is also ceases to exist

  • Hello everyone. I created the 2D games for mobile phones and know I have an idea which need a 3D dimension and my lack side is that I don't know how much financing I need for the game. In Russia this industry is undeveloped and there is no much people who can proreply satisfy animation needs.

    What's i'm going to, is to create a promo-video for my investor to describe the fight system in my game (it will be a complex genre game, but the core is fighting). So I need very smooth animation, probably mocap, to have something to show. Who knows, how much it costs to have different combos to show for 30 seconds? I have a 3000$ budget and my models for the promotional video with the smooth animation, is that enough or the cost is too low?

    I love this game. My advice, if you are interested in, is to donate money on graphics and target mobile platform. Also I think there is a lack of story. The text which is shown is awesome, but I think that more developed story should be there.

    Looks awesome, but video hasn't show all varieties of mechanics. It's a pity that you haven't released it on IOS, if yes, I'm going to check this stuff.

    Personally, I think it is not a very good idea to make an openworld in a side-scroll because you loose sufficient time to make your linear world more interesting.

    I memorise an old game which is known as Crusaders of Might and Magic which was released on Playstation 1 and then on PC

    The first game is what I really love and it was linear. The interesting fact is that in ps1 NPC'S take decisions through the game, showing that they are alive. In PC there was characters without showing their individual characteristics, they haven't done all (only give a quests) but the world was not linear and game is known as a trash game.

    In my opinion, open world is a luxury if you are an indie developer, and if you will concentrate all your attention on open world as the main goal you will collapse

    Hello, сan you fix a glitch when complex sprites overlaping each other? I don't know how to fix it by events. In my game one man assist the main hero and help him to reach the platform. The issue is: when there are 2 animations in a certain period of time of 2 different scon, and they are overlaping each other it is always a glitch (sprites sticking) (guys on the screen are both solid)

    Can you draw Sprites or make simple animation effects? If yes, I can help you with most of your issues concerning C2 for exhange, if not, I can answer your questions when I will be completely free.

  • I don't know if the issue is so simple, but I can advise you to use global variable and set music to this variable, but for variable you should use choose (1,2,3,4).

    SO: On start of layout set global variable value to "true"

    if true

    on start of layout set value music choose 1,2,3

    set music to global variable music

  • In my platform game I have created it by using MoveTo plugin. I need enemy to find a platform and jump into it, to throw axes from it to my hero. I used moveto platform, than I have a general rule (if animation is run and vector x =0, means that smth is not quite good ->simulate jump). But you can do it without plugin, using simulate control options and your imagination

  • Construct 2 uses a pretty simple language. I guess using English also serves educational purposes, that's why I don't think this is actually a hot topic. I don't know if C2 has a separate language file, if it has, I can voluntarily translate it, but smb need to make an animation for my hero in Spriter to compensate time investment
