  • Hello! I created the hp bar to show the character hp value and set width to current hp/maxhp*100. It works good but character hp bar reduce its width step by step and what I actually need that it should change its width smoothly moving. How can I do this?

  • Hello everyone! I'm trying to design a feature in a platform game that when you jump on enemy head you bounce from it (like in Mario).

    I tried everything that I can and bullet behaviour did a very good and smooth result but I can't to change it's direction! I tried global values and other stuff but it doesn't works it flies either left or right. Who can help me with that?

    For example I make a global variable with bullet direction and set it to -180/180 which is depends on miroring the hero, and than I set bullet angle to this variable but it does not change with the value

  • Hello! I'm trying to design a platform game and what I need is to make a character rotating during the jump (taking into account if he is mirored or not). I've tried different ways but he lands very ugly. (for example when he is not on his foot, but on 70% of rotate cycle).

  • Hello everyone! I'm trying to design the sword fight system in a plaftform game and what I need is two things. The first is to make the chance of critical damage according to this logic:

    compare ability of critical hit with an enemy ability.

    and if hero critical ability = enemy critical ability I need a 25% chance to make a critical hit. There is no difficulties with making a critical hit but how to make a chance of 25% to set value for critical hit?

    And the second is to prevent many clicks to kill the enemy. How can I count how much animations were ended during for example 2 seconds to make the enemy to block damage?

  • Hello everyone! As you know Spriter is a very powerful thing in conjunction with C2, but there is a feature which is not supported yet which help to change the character and his dress effortlessly. (is ideal for RPG and Platform Games) I bought both C2 and Spriter licenses and think that the future is for these two awesome things. Maybe it looks a bit impudently but can I ask about the approximate date when this feature will appear?

  • I read this topic for a long time and I can't understand FOR THIS MOMENT can I create a mobile game with a Spriter plugin or not? After the first implementation I saw a critical lag which made me frustrated and all about this implementation is unpredictable and uncertain. For example I implemented the Spriter object on new layout and after I open this layout c2 is going to hung.

    I'm not a programmer and a little bit embarassed with a question but what the situation with every tick depends on? The capx which was provided didn't solve the problem, so in my game when my hero is running there are glitches which make process uncomfortable.

    Spriter plugin + Construct is it now still working or traditional animation is a better way to design an animation system? I am very interested in situation with plugin because there are games where smooth fighting animation is a very sufficient part of gameplay and export to png works very bad

  • Hello everyone! I'm trying to create a platform RPG game and sword combo-attacks is a very sufficient part of gameplay. The problem is when I attack in different animation the position of main hero (x,y) is changing and it looks very ugly. I tried to set position to another object but it does not work. Who have solved this kind of problem?

    I need beautiful animation for a platform game for IOS (idle, combo attacks, run) for a fee or if you make a discount for a fee + %.

    either

    'button' is in touch

    trigger once.......................... play spriter animation.

    or add a boolean instance variable to the button named 'punching'

    button is touched

    button 'is not punching'............ play spriter animation and set 'punching' to true

    on spriter animation 'punching' finished ........ set 'punching' to false

  • Hello everyone! The problem is in animation control. I am using Spriter plugin for C2 and the thing that I need is that on touch the whole animation must be played (punch in action game). In my situation it's become to start to play and then if you continue to put pressure on the button it is playing. What I need is that must play the whole animation in one touch. How to design this?

  • Im sorry for a noob question but what about customisation feature? I tried to append character maps but it works only in Spriter in Construct 2 it is not working now. But how did you design the item changing feature in demo?

    I need to change weapon but the previous weapon exists! What should I write that it ceases to exist? If I apply action for the previous weapon it spread on the whole animation because it's family or smth like that help me please!

  • Somewhere I heard that it is better for performance to use Spriter plugin for Construct 2 than to export PNG files. Is it really so? And how to theoretically explain that?
