Great, thanks.

There's still some issues, but he'll optimize things eventually (collisions, resolution etc.)
Is it possible to create a seamless option for the Tilemap? This way we could use it in high quality games. Is it planned? Because it was in the 9 patch object, so just curious why it's not the option here.
Ok the PS4 controller doesn't use Xinupt so probably won't work with Chrome, zzz.
Has anyone tried the PS4/xbone controller yet?
Chrome won't fix an unsupported USB gamepad due to: some stability issues with DirectInput on Windows causing browser crashes, so they've dropped DirectInput gamepad support. https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=260122

Wow, that sucks. That's like the majority of inputs/gamepads down the toilet. So stupid...
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Could you just have multiple tiles of the same image at different opacity?
You can't place tiled BG in a family that has sprites in it.
Ya i'm just waiting for the collision & resolution optimizations so we get good performance, when g-sync becomes standard different or stuttering framerates won't matter anyway.
The core philosophy of Construct 2 has always been to make games for the future (hence HTML5 and no native support etc.).
Here's a link to the blog post:

I guess it's best not use it for collision until Ashley decides what he'll do with it, if it's just going to change.
I did a little test, and using the tilemap just for collisions seems to reduce collion checks by like 90% compared to using lots of sprites, weird!
Either it's amazingly efficient for collisions or the debug thing needs to be updated?
Many of us are are probably nearly on steam (i'm in the top 100), is it possible for us to get a steam/steamworks plugin sometime in the future?
AVG is a virus, be careful!
Is it much more efficient (memory/speed wise) to use this rather than lots of individual sprites? I guess that sort of info will come with the manual entry in the stable release.
