Hi everyone!
I've been here for a while, but now I'm finally got here to introduce myself .
I'm an university student in Hungary. I started game development about when I was 14 (with GameMaker 4.3). Then I had a .. well we can say a longer break in the game developing (I was mainly interested in webpage designs).
If I remember well, I was using GameMaker 7 when I saw the blog post on GameMakerBlog about Construct. I tested it and played around a little, but it didn't got me. It was later that I gave it an other try, and the opennes and freedom made me love it. I never developed anything serious with GM or Construct, but they made me love the game making process and today I believe I can make my game dreams come true even if I don't know programming.
I first tried Construct 2 in the early times. It's funny, the zooming effect on the layer editor made me love it. Later I bought it as an early adopter (after some more testing).
Since then I tried GameMaker 8.1 and now the Studio, tested Stencyl, but they all missing something that Construct 2 has. I believe (other then the great software) it's the openness and freedome provided to the users (for example: I bought it and I'll have the future updates too, and I can install it as many times as I want on my PC, the Scirra Team is awesome, they are open and friendly to the community). As far as it stays that way, C2 will be always the best
Thank your for reading.
