  • Hi everyone,

    I'm WaywardChicken (Mike). I've been working in Game Development on and off for about 10 years now. I recently left Petroglyph Games after working on End of Nations and Rise of Immortals and now I'm working on my own indie projects.

    After evaluating numerous development tools I've finally come across Construct 2 and I must say...WOW. Loving this tool so far and I can't wait to dive in.

    Anyway, Hiya and see ya around the forums!

  • Hello all,

    You can call me dben (or Dan). I'm a grad student, so I have next to no time at all. But when I decide I don't feel like sleeping or neglecting my research, I think I've found a new way to pass my time. I've always wanted to make my own game, and I think this will finally be the tool that lets me do so without the time commitments needed by some of the other tools. Now to get past the lack of artistic ability...

    I'm looking forward to spending time on these forums.

    -dben

  • You may call me Raj. I am a mechanical engineer, just tinkering around with the game development.

  • Hi! You don't need to know my name. I'm making games since 2009. I'm from Poland, it isn't a bad place to live, but politicians are ugly and they only want to get money from citizens -.-

    I never released a good game, just few simple platform games and a lot of unfinished projects.

  • Hi,

    I am completely new to construct 2, can anyone tell me if the license fee, is annual or one time?

  • Hello everyone I am 65 year old and I just want to keep myself feet and sound mind. • Since I neglected to do this when I registered:

    Hello! I'm Morgan, currently studying International Game & Architecture Design in The Netherlands. I'll be quitting at the end of this academic year, and I've found Construct to be a great tool to prototype design ideas I've had for a while now. I'll probably get my hands on a license just as soon as I'm not broke anymore :)

  • Hello Scirra-members!

    My name is Emil, a.k.a. Lemonmuncher and I'm a 22 year old guy from Sweden. I live with my lovely girlfriend together with three crazy cats in southeastern Sweden.

    I recently decided to follow one of my dreams, which is to work with creating games! I'm very new to game development and still try to figure out my style and what exactly I want to accomplish with it.

    I grew up with a Nintendo controller practically glued to my hand and I've been a huge fan of their games and consoles for as long as I can remember. Also I do play a lot of x360 games along with spending time by my computer.

    I hope you guys will enjoy having me around as much as I will enjoy your comments, discussions and all other things going on here, and I hope we can share and inspire each other with our ideas and creativity to accomplish greatness!

    Pleased to meet you!

    /Lemonmuncher

  • pmgupta911 it's a one time fee, updates free for life!

  • Hey there, I'm Josh!

    Recent college graduate in Computer Science, Animation Emphasis. I currently work for Imagine Learning, a company that makes educational software to help little kids learn English. I get to help make the little games that teach language concepts. It's an awesome company and I love working there, but I would also love to break into the gaming industry.

    I love game engines like Unity and Construct 2 that give anyone a chance to try their hand at making a game before making a monetary investment. If this proves to be my thing, I will definitely buy a license. I'm very pleased with what I've seen so far! <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hi,

    I go by the hackerer name: "JeZ+Lee" and am an Autistic Savant.

    I've been making video games for over 15 years now.

    I am fluent in C++ and HTML5/JS.

    I've built a C++ and HTML5/JS 2D video game engines before.

    I've purchased and used for a few months "GameMaker: Studio"

    I've recently purchased "Costruct 2" and think it is better than "GM:S".

    I plan to make several video games with "Construct 2".

    Thanks!

    JeZ+Lee
