The Official Introduce Yourself Thread

  • Hi. I'm zildjian97 and currently living in the Philippines. Game development is not that common here, so my classmates are easily amazed whenever I create games. I know Java and Ruby through game modding. I know Flash and ActionScript before coming into game makers. I have tried StencylWorks, free version limits are few but found it a bit too crowded, tried Game Maker but it's very expensive and the free version is very limited, and finally Construct 2, found it very easy and flexible. HTML5 comes in the free version unlike other makers. I plan on buying the full version but right now I'm just pulling my fingers with Construct. I'm 15 years old but I don't think that's a limitation to me. Looking forward to making games with you guys!

  • Welcome ! I guess you found the right tool ! :)

  • Hello,

My name is Abbie Martin-Jones, I am a programmer studying Computer Games Technology at Portsmouth University.

  • Hello all,

    I'm Asmodeus.

I grew up drawing, painting, sculpting, and eventually realized that video games were where I wanted to make my visions real. I hate dogma, and when I see words like 'Iconoclast' a happy fire spirit dances around in my chest.

Armed with 2 degrees in Comp Sci., a Wacom tablet, a licensed Photoshop suite, and a recently purchased license of C2, I plan to unleash hell on the games marketplace.

I hope to meet a few really talented, really focused C2 devs here with a similar mission. As Lenneth from Valkyrie Profile always says, "Come to me, dark warriors. Battle awaits us..!"

  • I've just moved from Game maker, and already loving Construct. It seems like a more stable and far more capable program. At the moment I'm just going through some of the tutorials, and just chipping away at the basics.

Anyway, I'm very happy I've found out about this (:

  • Hi everyone!

  • Hello there! :)

I'm a 22 years old german boy. I make regularly german games with the RPG Maker, but now I've found Construct 2 on Steam and loved it! I decided to make english, international games with that tool.

I'm very creative in many ways; I make my own games with RPG Maker VX, VX Ace and Construct 2, I make my own music, I write fictive storys and poems, and finally I also make mods for Skyrim, Oblivion and Fallout 3. Everything from me is available on my (german) website, which can be found here, if you're interested:

So... I'm sure it's a great community here and I'm proud, that I'm now a member of it. :)

    Greetings from germany!
