  • Does anyone have a good idea for a game that they never got around to making? I am looking for ideas and will mention you as inspiration/idea creator. I am open to literally ANY ideas...

  • I have an outline for an MMORPG. In most MMORPGs there are npcs at shops, in dungeons, etc. BUT this would be different! No npcs, EVERYBODY is played by a real gamer. You could be a shop owner, traveling merchant, mercanary, etc. Differnt factions fighting against each other, You could be a bandit in a dungeon raiding towns, etc. I know this idea would be too hard to create without a huge development team and $$$$$$. Just venting ideas.

  • Battleshops! Manage your shops and pit them against rival shops during the rush hour to win over customers. Wage battles using shopping cart launchers and demolish their carefully stacked products! Oh, and stack your own products in a way they will suffer the least damage when toppled over by rival shops.

Test your shop management AND warmongering skills against famous battleshops Warmart and many more!

Let your brains loose and you can come up with ideas like this, too! ;)

  • Survival Horror Game <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

More like Clock Tower, it's pioneer of the survival horror game for Super Nintendo what it has never released in America.

You may play it with an emulator, you will like it, but it's very scary than Silent Hill 2.

  • An RTS game where you can literally design your entire army from scratch. Tanks, planes, buildings etc. would be completely designed by the players(did I mention multiplayer) and thus each army would have different strengths and weaknesses.

I can't explain it much better than that because I only thought of it recently, but in my head it seems like it could be a pretty cool game.

  • Murkat: Warzone 2100 ?

  • 6 Player chess on a hexagonal board.

  • I have an idea for a game that I'm working on now.

Basically, most of the game is spent trying to prepare your army so that they can stop the "Cycle". Throughout most of the game, you will be trying to collect resources and forming alliances so that you may have a chance to end the cycle.

Think of cycles as Bloodlines from Infinity Blade. In the last battle, I want it to be kind of RTS combat, but with "in-direct" control of your army.

The goal of the final battle is to give your plan (there will be a few different plans to be able to be used)enough time to be put into effect.

If you fail, you will begin a New Cycle. I hoping to be able to put different endings in the game (a few for losing, some for when you win).

If you win, you will be able to start a New Cycle +. (new ending, 10 extra "phases" which give you the opportunity to get new unit types/resources).

Some alliances will either give you more unit types, more ground troops (ground troops are your last defense and enemy units that get past your final blockade will deplete them), or more resources (currency that will allow you to make units during the final battle, help form some alliances, or be used to buy extras.)

This is incredible, and I'm tempted to do it myself.

  • Murkat: Warzone 2100 ?

I love that game @ You can even notice some inspiration from it in my project in my signature

  • Thank you for posting so many ideas. I really just created this string so that we could all share our ideas. Also, please do not share your ideas unless you are NOT going to do them yourself. If you are using them, please do mention so.

I've been thinking about this too, but I wish I had the time and knowledge to make a 3D game that plays like Alone in the Dark, instead of 2D.
