Construct 3 any news?

From the Asset Store
Casino? money? who knows? but the target is the same!

I am going to have a guess that the c3 engine will be written in TypeScript so it can export/compile the latest acceptable version of JavaScript...

Just an educated guess because it would keep c3 at the bleeding edge. Also, the Visual Studio Code editor is fantastic, so writing plugins in TypeScript would be a pleasure...

I would love that too, I hope that will be true.

    Thank goodness!

Well, as time passed. I think that adding official 3D support will just hold back the focus on 2D optimization.

    Besides, there is already Unity3D.

    Eventually I did...

And I found that in those 30 pages there is no confirmation from the developers Ashley or Tom that there will be or wont be 3d.

Maybe the confirmation in other topics (I'd like to see them), like some people mentioned:

    Satisfied?

    Satisfied?

    Yes, Ashley is the best

    There won't be 3D.

4 words, that should make it easier for future quotes.

    Definitely!

one suggestion I hope you may consider for C3 is for us to be able to use NPM modules in desktop exports... Would open us up to amazing new worlds. Serial Port control, USB, Arduino, etc...

    +1

    R0J0hound Thanks you're the one

Honestly, the main thing I'd like would be some sort of built in source control. It's not too hard to set up something that works decently already, but something native would be fantastic.

    Hey, I'm popular!

Seriously though, what is the reason anyone would copy/paste posts? I mean, it's not hard to quote and agree to something if they really give a hoot.

    Bots, bots everywhere.

I swear, if I read someone else asking for 3D I'm gonna lose all my hair, and that's coming from a 3D Artist lol

I think we speculate too much but I believe C3 is gonna step up quite well if we see how Construct progressed from Classic to 2. So I'm not scared at how it will be.

I've been using C2 since 2013 and the countless updates always made C2 better. So I'm sure its gonna rock
