I know it says MetroidVania, but will there be a Vania Type inventory System too?

Item lists with quantity (meat x12)

Equip slots (hand, torso, left/right hand)

Drop items (leaving them on the floor)

Special Commands to do actions (SOTN - Down, Up, Jump for Super Jump)

More of the Vania side? Just wondering. I will pick this up though, when it comes out.

DurandalCorp "Metroidvania" just refers to the room-based open-world system that both Metroid and later Castlevanias used. I think Metroid did a much better job at it so that's what this is modeled after.
Anyway, no, sorry. There are collectibles and a sub-screen to see what you have, but no real inventory. They're fairly simple to make and I'm sure there are a few examples and such around here somewhere.

2 Questions:

1. The engine is designed to work on mobile devices? (touch controls, ...)

2. The player can possibly do, for example if he can't shoot bullets, the melee attack when he is close to enemy? (like sword slash or something like that?)
