  I ended up going with your raycast approach, but used the MoveTo instead of Tween behaviour to move the "bullets". It worked a treat, thank you for the help.

  It might be worth giving a try, though having 360 objects for each character always being alive will probably start stacking up as well. Thanks for the reply.

  Hey, I am currently working on a project and I have a mechanic which requires me to spawn a lot of object at once (360 to be exact).

  It's becoming quite expensive because the player isn't the only character in the game which uses the same mechanic and I am using effects (all on one layer), so it soon adds up. Can anybody think of a less performance heavy method of achieving this mechanic, would writing this in JavaScript make much of a difference? Any help is appreciated.

  I have recreated the mechanic and it's setup in a blank project, so you can see for yourselves, but here is a screen shot of the logic as well.

  Thanks for the reply. I'd be interested to know the reason behind deciding not to publish a roadmap. Knowing at least the future features would be nice, even if there are now dates attached to them.

  I had checked the suggestions page out, thought it was a good idea, but in reality (correct me if I am wrong), that page has been up for two years are currently there hasn't been a single suggestion to make it in to Construct 3?

  I doubt it. I've got a hundred and one other things to finish before I can start a new project. I may revisit the concept in the future though.

  I developed this last weekend whilst attending Jamchester (biggest professional game jam in the UK). You connect your mobile phone to the game running on PC, and use it to interact with the environment to help you solve puzzles and navigate the world. The PC player plays in heaven whilst the mobile is set in hell.

  No, the grab object is generated only on the platforms you want to be grabbable, not on every single platform.
