TIZEN VALIDATION

  • Just finished submitting mine :)

My game was kind of rushed, but works on Tizen Emulator and doesn't have major bugs <img src="smileys/smiley20.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

If the new deadline is true than I will have time to implement Achievements and Leaderboards <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

By the way, in the store, my Content ID is 000000007051 . Does that mean that there are only 7051 apps at the moment ?

So it's been validated? How long ago did you submit it?

  • No, I've just submitted mine a few hours ago and now is "In Progress" of validation. If I am lucky, it would take 1-2 days.

  • tgeorgemihai

exactly, 7000+ apps were submitted to Tizen Store

  • szymek I think every time you start the process of submitting your game you receive an incremented global Content ID, but that ID is saved even if you don't hit the publish button. Many games have bugs or are rejected, meaning not all 7000 are on the store. Some developers might publish the same app with different name receiving a new ID. So in my opinion, the store has less than 3000 . We will see when the store is open.

  • Cipriux

you are right - rejected apps or bugged are counted too. But I guess that 95% devs fix bugs, just because of Tizen App Challenge.

Off topic: even the weakest Intel CPU is 2x fastest than ARM CPUs, so this + HTML5 apps = I wish them success. Also after Tizen release - I will do all my apps for $ because I want Tizen Store to be next AppStore, not Google Play.

If you are melting devices, I can see why you no longer have access to any. ;-)

Still waiting on word of my game, I've about given up on it being in on time. An extension could save me.

Mine is a cannon game, but I didn't use physics, so hopefully it won't burn the player.

Hmm, if it is extended, I could put it in the arcade and get some opinions.

  • Paradox haha!

Arg, I'm an idiot, I forgot to close the app from the start screen on back. I failed this time, but hopefully the resub should be golden.

  • Hi guys,

Has the deadline change been confirmed?

    Thanks...

  • thehen

I thought the latest versions of Construct2 were defaulting to closing on "back," if you don't have anything assigned to it. Was yours the latest?

In mine "Back" takes you progressively back to the title screen, but then I thought the default would close it. I may have a problem too.

  • Paradox I'd used the back button to navigate menus and pause the game, but not to exit the game. So when on the first screen and the user pressed back, nothing happened.

You need to add browser -> close, in order to quit the game. The default behavior is overridden the second you use 'on back pressed'.

  • thehen

I purposely made sure there was no "back" event on the title screen event sheet. ("menu" either) Do you think the default action shuts off if an event is included in any event sheet?

  • simwhi Can you confirm through your contact that the submission deadline has indeed been changed? I have not been able to get any official confirmation yet...

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Paradox I'm not sure to be honest. I couldn't get the back functionality to behave at all in the simulator so my resubmission was based on guesswork.

  • Well ... f**k <img src="smileys/smiley24.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    b]Defect ID:

    Title:

[Function] Abnormal operation when BACK key interruption occurs

    Test Result:

    [Defect]

The application is not terminated or the previous page does not appear when the BACK key is pressed. Ref: Please build your application on the latest SDK as possible.(SDK2.2)

    [Test Procedure]

    1. Run the application.

    2. Press the BACK key.

    3. Check that the application operates as expected.

    [Expected Result]

When the BACK key is pressed, the application must be terminated or the previous page must appear.

So how do I add the back button functionality ?

On the bright side this is the only error I received ...
