  • As long as it works for you, all good :)

In the store, setting the price as "Lowest Priced" or "Highest Priced" doesn't sort the items in the correct order.

  • I will not probably use it, at least in the short time, but I really want to take the chance to thank you for all your effort to help the community.

I don't usually use third party plugins, but I would definitely consider yours if I will be forced to use one.

    Thanks again :)

Is it possible to see the discounted price + its percentage in the Bundle creation page before publishing it?

Once again we got a weird rounding 49% that doesn't look so good for buyers.

Since bundles can't be edit, in this way we could at least take some action ahead.

If we can see it before, we can tweak the percentages to make it a whole number.

    Thank you!

  • It really depends on the game and at the stage where you are at now.

For example if you are in early or late stage of a matching 3 game, then it's ok to wait to hire someone at the end of the process, as long as you know a little bit about art and how to implement it. So for the programming part you should know that a 32x32 sprite is more efficient than a 34x34 one and therefore you will need to set your game for optmisation and pass the same info to the artist at the end.

If you are planning to develop an RPG, well you might want to contact one artist during development because while you can add lots of arts and animation at high definition pixel art, the artist can't produce so much quantity of art in short time and for cheap. The artist might even not accept the work because too big and long. In this case you might want to have someone to get on board so you can compromise the game with the art considering programming limitation and art time and cost.

    Thank you

SketchyLogic I never thought to ever come across to read such a poetic post about how nice is to develop with nostalgia on old software.

You made my day, even if I'm just going to sleep now :P

  • I'm sorry i was rude, I shouldn't tell you what to do

That's ok, no worries. It was a good chance to explain readers the different point of view of people. Not everyone is at the same level and what is important for you might not be for me and vice versa.

Everyone have different knowledge and interest in life :-)

  • You can either manually add all the names of the layout in an array and pick one random name from the list, but that would be annoying to update and upkeep if you rename any layer. Or with your current convention if your levels never has 2 digit like 1-10, then you can use this formula.

    Go to Layout (by name) -> floor(random(X,Y)) & "-" floor(random(A,B))

Where X is the minimum value of the number to the left and Y is the maximum + 1.

A and B are the corresponding or X and B for the number to the left of your layout name.

If your levels have 2 digit or more like said before 1-10, you will have to rename all of them adding a 0 if they are a single digit like 01-10 and use the zeropad in the formula.

  • I mean sure, but if you have questions, you could just ask me, you don'T need to pay 150$

I don't think we are talking about the same thing here...

I am glad you have time to reply to the questions to all Construct users for free. Lucky for you that you have some sort of automatic income.

Here there are some questions waiting for your assistance ;-)
