    I have read in several places in this forum regarding how to set up your game so that it "farms" while you are offline. I'm experimenting with learning construct right now. What I want to achieve is that when I turn off the game, the game will store what I have collected. When I start the game again, I want the game to count the time from the last time I turned off, to now when I start the game again. So some form of idle game function.

    I have seen that people answered in several similar ways here in the forum, but I am not a programmer and do not really understand the explanations.

    Can someone who is knowledgeable explain to me how to do in my eventSheet? when I close the game, my progression will be saved, when I open the game later in the day, the time that has elapsed will be added to the progression.

    Im looking for a tutorial around the subject.

    I want to make a simple platform, an object should be moving forward and backward on a solid ground.

    The idea is to have three layers as background that moves in different speed. I have figured it out. But i want it to connect with the controllers of the character. When the character moves, the background should move. Not when it stands still. Does anyone got any good tutorials for this? I try to read about it but i cannot find any solutions that i understand.

  • Hi! im trying to create the endless runner template. I cant see where i have been doing it wrong. But when i start playing... The coming spawning blocks are too high up, so the player cant even jump to it, and sometimes the blocks are too close to eachother. I dont get it. I have done exactly as the template. Why isnt my blocks on groundlevel?

    But when i try to add parameters in the newer version i can just name it and not link it.

  • Hi! im following a Tutorial of a game in C2. But using C3. A bit older tutorial but really interesting and good.

    THe thing is, Functions as we know has moved a bit in updates and works a bit different these days. So in the first image im posting with this post, you can see how they do in the tutorial. They want to add parameters inside the function afterwards, but i cannot do the same. the other two images are what my C3 gives. Can anyone back me up a little here and try to solve this?

    I have been trying to find something on this on the forum with no luck.

    I have mixed with "tween" and "simulate control" but nothing.

    I just wanted to try and understand how i could make an intro-scene where a sprite moves to a logo.

    Like when you start one layout: there is a sprite moving from left and stops in the middle, the same time a text would glide down from top. and the scene is popping up a button to start a game etc.

    Hope someone understands what i try to learn here.

  • I need to raise the scroll to screen. the camera lowers when i add scroll to to my character. and that shows whitespace under the level. Is there a way to raise the camera in scroll to?

  • Hi! my enemies are hurting me when im in contact with them. The problem is that i dont have a change to hit them with for example punches before they hit me. I want to be able to hit them and dont get hurt myself (my character) But get hit if i just touch them. How can i think around this issue?
